I'm not gonna lie. I LOVE the Ruffian guy. He's so cool and he is creating just pure real, 3D breathe it, touch it, see it, hear it, drive it (if you are lucky enough!) art. Beautiful.
Fun fact: Unlike other forms of camouflage, the intention of dazzle is not to conceal but to make it difficult to estimate a target's range, speed, and heading. Norman Wilkinson explained in 1919 that he had intended dazzle primarily to mislead the enemy about a ship's course and so cause them to take up a poor firing position.
This is one of my favorite builds. Legit. I say that word "favorite" EXTREMELY sparringly.... like once a decade. I dreamed of doing a Galaxie very much in the same style and ethos. That car has almost a "classic drag" set of body lines and window lines, and plenty of space to put any powerplant. And you rarely see a Galaxie that isn't an old drag car or stock car or museum spec.
The Galaxie is unreal, congratulations on a brilliantly conceived and executed car. They are both awesome 🤯 The universe can be weird...... Just this week I had a look at and was offered to buy, a '66 Galaxie ambulance, all original, no rust, running a 390 FE. My Ghost Busters fantasy could finally come true 😂.
Definitely my top builder at the 2023 Sema Show..The Galaxy is tough!!!.. Although the mustang is my favorite..Looking forward to seeing him more in the future..👍🏽🏁
Chris builds the best customs out there today, combining form, function and art into the coolest rides ! You can’t buy taste and there’s a lot of hackneyed looking customs out there SEMA was full of them. So tired of 21” wheels and sponsor decals !
I seriously cannot fathom the way the design of this car works so well the way it does. It looks fckn incredible. I’m seriously at a loss for words to describe how good it looks.
If only Carrol Shelby were alive to see this work of art. U know he’s smiling down on Chris, I absolutely love his direction on design and functionality.
thank you larry... i work with ultem , put it back in the lathe, start with 600 and work to polishing rouge, and you can make that stuff "water" transparent.
Chris Ashton is my hero, LOL. Going from Left 4 to creating some of the best looking cars around. I was hooked when I originally saw the '70 Fastback, then was the GT40 and now the Galaxie. Well, I know what my dream now is. To have him build me a '70 Charger someday. I can't wait to see what they build next
Great job Larry highlighting these amazing builds from the Ruffian Cars crew. Chris and the team are definitely going to be blowing minds for some time to come!
My new favorite custom car, thank you for the awesomeness 👏 🏆. I wanna race you with my piped out 06 Mercury thats 50/50 as well, but stock lol. Just so i can watch your car close up in action
I say this in the comments in every video showcasing ruffian cars. Chris builds cars the way I dream of building cars if I had the time and money street legal vintage race cars with a modern twist that also just happen to have the most beautiful fit and finish. Chris and Riley stair are my favorite builders right now for that very reason.
Like I had mentioned before, Chris is the dude. He has started a new genre of car builds. RestoRaceRods. He has brought to reality what most of us have pictured in our heads and put soul into it to bring it to reality. Lotus race livery on a Mustang that looks like the 70 Trans Am Boss… and the Galaxie is excuse the punt from a another universe. Being from a creative ad background I just love the little details. Stunning. Just Stunning.
One thing i love is he runs big/wide wheels and tires. I see a lot of people running 9.5-10.5 wide with 285s on MASSIVE cars. Ill never understand why. Especially when the build is expensive. Its not much more to put wheels that fit instead of spacers, or just a low offset with narrow inner barrels. Ive had 305s with 12 wide on little itty bitty e36s
I really enjoy the artistry and attention to detail of this guy's builds. You can just see how much passion and creativity has gone into his cars and he comes across as such a cool and approachable person, no front or BS. Excellent.
I absolutely LOVE both these cars!!! I love it when you mix the old school with a modern twist and updated technology but still paying homage to the clean body lines and original- LOVE these builds!!! 🤘
Two awesome builds! I agree with him, there’s something really special about the classic racers with leather straps holding things together. Nice touch
The Galaxie looks great! There is no way that we can see how well it is engineered or how is performs without it being on a track. I look forward to a track video. The more agressive the track needs to be for driving, for steering, suspension and speed, the better. I have seen people engineer some bricks, this doen't seem to be one.
Chris builds amazing cars with a much higher level of attention to detail. I saw his interview with Nichole Johnson Detour on You Tube and i was left totally impressed. !! Plus Nichole is such a great interviewer.
God both of those are utterly ridiculously dope, and while I'd normally take a Galaxy over a Mustang any day, I'd definitely take this Mustang over the Galaxy this time lol.... only thing I'd change on the Mustang is that polished exhaust sticking out the side, I'd get it Cerakoted white.... and that's it.... that thing is so dope, especially in that gorgeous Porsche Brewster Green 👌🥵

Have you seen the one that pretty regularly gets raced at Goodwood?
@@chickenfishhybrid44 Yeah. I watched that car long before it was being recorded on video at Goodwood.
He could not have picked a better canvas. The 64 Ford Galaxie has always been a beautiful car.
I agree 100% about the rear of this car. It's so radical, but it blends so well with the original lines.
The builder has great presence. Chill. Knowledgeable, That sort of " quiet " intelligence.
Chris has a seldom found knack for designing and creating outstanding vehicles. They are art on wheels. Enjoyed the interview.
the mustang logo sprayed on the intercooler and the Ruffian badge in original Ford font at the back… insane attention to details
The Galaxie is unreal, congratulations on a brilliantly conceived and executed car.
They are both awesome 🤯

All these design queues are just awesome! Especially the easter egg with the tow hook... 😁😁😁
Both cars looks amazing but this galaxie it's something to don't see often

WICKED GALAXIE LARRY PERFECT CHOICE LARRY!!!🫵🫵🫵👍👍👍🤜🤛🤜🤛🤜🤛
Beyond cool builds Larry...wow!
Chris seems to be on another level with his builds pushing them to the max.
Piece of art, The Galaxy is the most authentic build I've seen on the YT in awhile. Kudos & salute
The vision and the skills that the Ruffian team have are amazing. Would love to see them build a foxbody Mustang!!!
Amazing cars. They are like the Singer Porsche of vintage Fords.
I love this style car. Another Favorite, is Steve Stropes 1967 Ford Fairlane
Chris and his team are killing it.
Awesome dude, awesome builds. Thanks Larry for the feature.
Absolutely love what Chris and his team builds! The coolest.
I seriously cannot fathom the way the design of this car works so well the way it does. It looks fckn incredible. I’m seriously at a loss for words to describe how good it looks.
Forza needs a Ruffian car pack yesterday!
this is like my most favorite build ever
If only Carrol Shelby were alive to see this work of art. U know he’s smiling down on Chris, I absolutely love his direction on design and functionality.
This has absolutely nothing to do with carrol shelby 😅
@@DIARRHEA-PANIC did you watch the video? The mustang he did was inspired by the Shelby Cobra….
thank you larry... i work with ultem , put it back in the lathe, start with 600 and work to polishing rouge, and you can make that stuff "water" transparent.
Hey I made the background! Sweet! So glad you and Chris connected, Larry!
Ruffian, Thank you for powering your Fords with FORD ENGINES!
Followed this build since DAY 1. Was so happy when I saw the color hit & camo. I knew then it was gonna be extra special.
WOW. This Galaxy is the best car of the show! What a beast in disguise. I wish this could go into production.
EXCRUCIATINGLY AWESOME YO
KUDOS ON THE BUILD 💯

i think he got started making maps for Counter-Strike. Touched all the games I enjoyed from then to now
The exhaust coming out by the rear window just Badass! My dream would be to have this man's shop build me a car.
Chris has an amazing way of blending racing into cars, yet still keeping the theme of the car.
The detail on this build is crazy it’s the small things
Artistry for Motion, Well Done.
Best to you Scott 🏁
Those guys sure have taste !
Great job Larry highlighting these amazing builds from the Ruffian Cars crew. Chris and the team are definitely going to be blowing minds for some time to come!
The galaxie omg!! So choice! The exhaust!!
My new favorite custom car, thank you for the awesomeness 👏 🏆. I wanna race you with my piped out 06 Mercury thats 50/50 as well, but stock lol. Just so i can watch your car close up in action

That Galaxie is never going to touch a racetrack; its nice knowing it could though 😂
I wish Chris could have had the time to finish answering the questions. Awesome cars!!

Love this! I love everything about it! I so,wish I were wealthy enough to buy EVERYTHING this guy builds! Because I would!
Form and function at its finest.
So in love with these awesome restomods🥰🥰🥰

I had 2 64 galaxies. Great cars with great racing pedigree. But this is something else. Incredible car.
That Galaxie looks amazing.
I love this fastback one of my dreams one day
Keep up the amazing work 🎉
Need to thank JLP giving us such a great show during these years
this type of stuff is why I love car culture.
Absolutely magnificent builds, really appreciate the walk around of them both, Rj in Oz
Love all his cars, sooo well done and unique! Might be the sickest Mustang that I've ever seen...
A true automotive artist! Thank you Larry for the video!
Hes definitely got an eye for those cars i like every one that he has made. They all look so good.
Hands down my pick of the show absolutely amazing
I've seen a few interviews with Chris after these cars hit SEMA, and this is the best interview I've seen.
Very nice. I especially liked the KSB manufactured wet lead acid battery in the trunk of the Mustang.
That ‘63 Galaxie is over the top awesome! Would like to see even more on it.
daaaaang... @larrychen beat out Nicole AND Shawn..? Well done sir, well done. lol
The Roadstershop of course. The Ring Brothers. And then Chris Ashton! these 3 names to me are the SHIHAT!
Ooooh yeah I thought of those Goodwood cars as soon as I read that title
I LOVE boat track cars
Couple of great rides for sure.
nice Phillips screws holding in the tail lights bezels
Let's Go Larry!!! Super pumped for this episode! 💯💪🏽💯
Seen this at the Mooneyes New Years show 2024, fucking INSANE build
Always Have Always Been a Crown Vic and Galaxie LTD Guy. Don’t ask why I just liked the design.
this guy isn't just "I made video games" he was one of the main guys behind Left 4 Dead lol
Nice video. Awesome cars.
I need him to build back my 88 Fiero. Would love to see it.
@autotopiaLA in the background TV at 9:15.... lol wassup Shawn?!
Functional art
Put Tordof or Kristensen in that and do a vid at Goodwood! PHENOM!
Shoulda organ-piped the exhaust alas OG Batmobile!!
Mustang 🔥🔥👀🔥🔥
Looks Fantastic
Deadly ride bred. Nice as.
Love it.
If it’s coming to Goodwood I might even come see it.
Unfortunately it’s now called ‘The goodwood festival of greed’ by the visitors
Beautiful👌🏼
Torino talladega next for Ruffin.?....Ford💪💯
I think he was on Nicole Johnson's channel with the Mustang?
Big car - big block 👍
I love it
I watch this one video and now my feed is full of fords.
Goat
Nice
This guy is like Rad Dan Burkett's Domestic Spirit Cousin or Dan had he never discovered Supras
