Another C90 adventure, a great way to start the day, has the Lifan 110 been a reliable engine, I hear mixed reviews?
Ps a very understanding Mrs who let you work on your bike in the living room 😆

Can you clear something up for me?...Why do folks put 110 Lifan engines in Honda C90's?.....Yes it's 20cc larger..BUT!..does it really produce more power than a decent Honda C90 engine?. With Hondas reliability and better build quailty a C90 engine would be just as powerful as a Chinese Lifan 110 engine?..more reliable and easier to get parts?. Do tell please.
Good question and I’m happy to answer #1 c90 is only 3 speed and Lifan is 4 speed . #2 why thrash your beautiful c90 engine when you don’t have to . #3 most Honda engines are made in China anyway . #4 110 is a straight swap where the 125 swap takes a few mods . #4 there are more parts on the market for Logan’s than Honda c90’s . #5 top speed is around the same but a c90 with a 3speed is not that great up hills . #6 I like to look at my original c90 engine everyday on my wall as I don’t have a TV . Take it easy bro 😎 🤘
@@KIWIMEDIA Thank you for the reply. So despite the extra 20cc it's no faster than the c90 engine...but better hill climber?.. For some reason I thought the C90 was a Semi 4 speed engine?..Not that I know anything about engines. Maybe I'm thinking of the new125 cub.? And I guess now with the wider spread use of Lifan engines then spares are just as easy to find as the C90's..or is it because the C90 is becoming more a classic every day that parts are becoming scarcer.?..So lifan spares cheaper?
Here in UK 🇬🇧 parts for Honda c90 engine are getting more expensive and second hand parts are just worn out . The Lifan engines are all over Europe and North Africa , yes parts are plentiful and cheap and made by the same people who supply Honda , triumph and KTM . There are other pit bike engines on the market (yx) but that’s another story for another day 😊🤘
