What many don't know is that at 0:00 they've(including the male choir) just finished performing Schoenberg's A Survivor in Warsaw and started this magnificent symphony right away w/o NO applause or breaks in between, hence the reason why the bass drum player had his hand on the resonant head and the cymbal player was putting down the cymbals(after the violent final note of Schoenberg's piece)- so by the end of this concert at 1:28:33 the orchestra would've performed for 96 minutes straight!
Pourtant j'adore Rattle...
No mention in the description the orchestra is "German".....is it the Berlin Philharmonic?? Or should we not mention this for fear the BPO will pull this video??

Offstage brass chorale in Urlicht, just as Mahler asked for.
¡Muchas gracias! Es extraordinaria la sinfonía Resurrección: Sir Simon Rattle conduce a Gustav Mahler
No 2 is a huge mountain to move, and Simon Rattle and the Berlin Phils are strong enough to do it.

Brittish conductor conducting a German Orchestra. Interesting
