Thank you so much Natalie!!! I was just that when I was in the store. I was so happy to see her. She was just breathtaking! I am so happy I came across her. I drove to a Trader Joe's that was a little far from me, but it was worth it!!! Yay!! Thanks for watching. Natalie!!!
Rachael, I have to say you you looks stunning in read. OMG those plants are certainly gorgeous. I think you have the most beautiful marble queen photos. Great haul Rachael.

There were two of them, but she was interested in the one I was looking at. I had to snap to it at that point. Thank you so much for watching! Still missing you!!!!
Thank you so much Barbara!!!! Yes, to a great deal on plant babies!!! I was shocked when I saw the price on these plants. The price for the hanging baskets was $8.99 but it is now $9.99. Other stores have gone up by $5 to $6 dollars. TJ is keeping it simple. I am happy about that.
Girl, I feel like I need you to go back to the store and get me one. You have such a beautiful smile and aura about you. You are a beautiful woman also.
Aww... Thank you so much Jade!!!!! I just went to TJs yesterday. they have a ton of big, huge alocasia plants for $12.99 I had to be good and not buy them all. I have all of the varieties, but it was so tempting!!!!!!
Gorgeous finds, Rachel! I agree with you about the pothos. Looks more Snow Queen or Manjula, rather than Marble. Regardless of the variety, absolutely stunning!
Yes, I agree. it is beautiful no matter what, but it is a lot more snow than marble. She is amazing. The leaves are so white in the light spots. It almost looks like a new variation for the pothos. SOOO Pretty!!!!1 Thanks for watching Karen!!!

You are a hoot to watch! Your plants look so pretty.....they almost look fake. It's very breathtaking to see all of them. You must show up at these plant shops at the right time every time.

I go to some of these stores at times and everything is dry or over watered, but when I see that it makes me so sad so that I go to another store to find happy live plants. Hi Rachel, I collect rainwater myself. My husband built me a rainwater container. It's in a large gallon trash can from Lowes or Home depot. In the top lid, he cut a hole and used a pvc pipe and mesh to catch all the debris. The pvc pipe doesn't go deep I to the trash can. It's on in the lid. He also made a spicket (like the hose spicket) to pour the water. I usually just take the lid off and fill up my gallon jugs from the top. Look in youtube on how to collect rainwater. But he probably spent maybe $30-50 on building mine. And if you go to your local grocery store, in the bakery section, ask them for food grade buckets, they can give them to you to collect the water and then pour it into your new big rainwater container. Hope this helps!😊
Yes, it does! Thank you so much, Danica! Your water catching system sounds amazing! I will look into more on this here on YT. I appreciate you sharing this with me. It is very helpful!
Hi Rachel, great plant haul and thank you for sharing this fun video. Your Marble Queen is gorgeous and she does have Manjula vibes! You know, I had no idea that IKEA had plants. It’s not really a store I frequent. Now Trader Joe’s is my store. I’m in NY and I can say the plants are always healthy and always priced so great. Especially for the quality, size and types of plants. I have picked up some pretty philodendrons from them. I’m a Peperomia queen. I’ve been looking for that Red Luna. That’s a beauty. And I would for sure change that self watering pot. They are so prone to root rot and their roots are so delicate. I keep all of mines in Terracotta. It makes it so easy to control their water.
Greetings to you! Oh, yes! Ikea does sell plants. they get in a lot of succulents in my area (CT). They also do a lot of large floor plants. Good prices. Trader Joe's always seems to knock the plant game out of the park. They get such beautiful plants. @ oh I’m sorry to hear that your Red Luna perished. You know I find that most big box stores, grocery stores etc usually have the plants in inappropriate pots and soil for the type of plant. I have 6 different Peperomias. Rest assured it was trial and error for me as well. But once you realize what they like they are so easy to care for. They are flexible in terms of lighting. There is a company that have the blue barrel and sometime depending where you live they will deliver them to you, I found them on Google. The blue barrels are a great idea for just for rain water. Regular and Marble Pothos I have them, even though I have two small marble queens in some propagation jars which are doing well! I would not mind a full plant though! My plants are not spoiled like yours they all get tap water!🤣🤣🤣
Hi Robert!!! Thank you so much. The Marble queens are so pretty!!! I love them in full baskets, but they look sooooo pretty when they are a nice small pot. They are a statement plant!!! LOL!!! The water in my area is very hard. It is loaded with chemicals that turn my plants with high white varigation yellow. Thank you for watching!!! enjoy your Wednesday!
@@lotsofpots.Rachael The two small ones I have are in glass globes! It's nice however they are growing. They will outgrow these and strangely enough tolerating the tap water? I change the water (weekly) and add a small amount of nutrients to the water once a month.
@@Robert_A_Keyboards4948 of that's great to know. I have tried growing in water only, but the plants don't do well after a while. I never put any kind of nourishment into the water. I will give that a try. I would like to grow a water only pothos. Thank you for that great tip!
Hi Melissa!!! You are right. I forgot to say that it was a Dieffenbachia! A beautiful Dieffenbachia. I love these plants so much. I can't wait to pot them up together. Thank you for watching!!!
Beautiful plants! Have you tried filtered water? When I run out of rain (or snow) water, I use Brita filtered water for orchids, calathea, and well… pretty much everything. I used to have a wood rain barrel but the water was icky and I wouldn’t use it indoors. Last fall I bought a big Bambino with 14 leaves which it quickly lost down to 3. At least a few of the corms have come up. Interested to hear your care tips.
Thank you so much, LWP! No I have not tried the filtered water from a pitcher. That is a great idea. I will give that a try. I did not think about collecting snow water either. Thank you so much. Wow!!! I did not know that the Bambino could have so many leaves at one time. That is exciting to know. I will do an update in about a month to share how things happen with her. I hope she likes living in my home. I love these little leaves so much. Did you corms come up in the potting soil with the mommy plant or did you have to harvest them and plant them?
@@lotsofpots.Rachael when all the leaves started dying, I repotted and harvested two corms. Propagated in sphagnum moss then put back with the momma when they had 3 leaves.

Thank you so much! this is such a sweet comment. Victoria!! This is a fabulous idea! I will look into finding these food grade barrels. Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I am so excited about this!!!
Rachel Rachel Rachel - Was about to scream at the TV then you delivered with Creeping Charlie 😅😅😅😅 Guess you have 2 guys in the house now 🤪 Byeeeee
Barry, I am trying to be more aware of my balance! LOL!!! I am so happy Charlie made it to this video. OH, so funny!!!!!
Wow! Nice trip! Some of my favorites! Philodendron Brazil I have a couple of them!
Rachel you hit the jackpot 😁😁❤️. What kind of plant were those before the marble queen - dieffenbachia or aglaonema? I don’t think you said the name
@liteweightpup2561 Oh, OK. Thank you! 😊
your joy is so infectious, and I completely understand. are you on tiktok. I dont have a youtube channel.
Hi Teresa! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am so sorry, I do not have a tiktok. I know, "whatyearisit" LOL maybe some day! Thank you for watching!!!
Hi Rachel I put a large bucket on my patio to save my rain water then put in a smaller containers it works for me good Luck🪴🪴
Thank you so much Janet! That rain water is like gold. the containers that I have to transfer the water into are so bulky. they are taking up so much room. Thank you kindly for sharing your rain water system. I am sure your plants thank you as well!
