Great informative video. Good job capturing each difference visually, really helps me understand exactly what you are explaining. I recently purchased a (pretty sure) January 1929 Model A so I am absorbing all the information I can. Currently rebuilding the engine since the blow-by was horrible and #3 rod was knocking.
I’m trying to figure out what I have. The steering column has an added brace. When did it change from being welded to the tank? The splash guards are one piece. The radiator shell has that extra panel at the top, painted body color. Inside fuel shutoff, not indented firewall.
As I just found your channel and this series and I am only on EP.6 my question is, Are you doing a full restoration or just a lets clean up things and see if it will run? Because in a restoration I personally would not rebuild certain parts just to have to take them back apart when I start the actual restoration. Good series though.
Glad you found us. You’ll have to forgive the first few videos as we were learning the whole video recording stuff. At Episode 6 we were just trying to see if we had a motor and transmission that would work. At Episode 12, the project starts to take a different turn. It will still be a restoration, but as you’ll see, the process gets accelerated quite a bit. Hope you enjoy the series. We’re still going strong at about 3 years in.
Thanks for that, didn’t know there were so many differences!
Thanks for watching! It really is surprising when you start to get into it just how much they altered from year to year.

Thanks and congratulations on your new Model A! They sure are a lot of fun!
I really like my early 1930 coupe (45B)
Muy bueno! Saludos desde Argentina
Thank you!

That would be a 31 Model A.
I heard one time from a Model A owner that from beginning to end of Model A production there were 5500 changes made.
I haven’t heard a number quite that high, but improvements were certainly happening all throughout production. Thanks for watching.

28 and 29 had a screw on gas cap
28 and 29 model a had 21 inch wheels not 31
You’re right! Slip of the tongue I guess. Thanks for pointing that out.
Hello From Brasil.
Thanks for watching!!
Where at in Brazil.
I thought they did Not make 1932 Model A's and the Deuce Coupe replaced the Model A
They did not make 1932 Model A’s, but the last of the 31’s didn’t roll off the assembly line until March of 1932.
