    I applaud this chef for not over cooking and over handling the meat, which is extremely common in Teppenyaki style. Bravo, looked great.

      Many wagyu cuts can be traced back to the exact cow, where that cow lived, and its ancestry. It isn't expensive for nothing.

    • @BennyDYT1
      @BennyDYT1 7 років тому +3

      Who said that we are not suppose to eat meat? We are carnivores. That is a fact. We can eat anything that is not literally deadly upon consumption of course.
      It is just that people choose what they wanna eat and some are vegetarians, but they will always lack the energy from actual meat as greens will never satisfy body fully on its own for us.

    • @Liamhannam
      @Liamhannam 7 років тому +4

      Mark Johnson You are exactly right buddy, However try telling that to a deadset Vegan who happens to be a leftist and probably a feminist too haha.

    • @lolpopo4948
      @lolpopo4948 7 років тому

      1 - we aren't inherently carnivores. There's a reason why we cannot digest raw meat and have for it to undergo a chemical reaction under heat. Furthermore, the consumption of meat is proven to cause heart problems and cancer.
      2 - the reason you are salivating is because you have been conditioned to the consumption of meat and therefore do not find it repulsive. Someone who rats broccoli everyday will be conditioned to its taste and have an appeal to it than someone who is trying it for the first time.

    • @lolpopo4948
      @lolpopo4948 7 років тому +1

      Vegetarians and vegans are shown to be much healthier than meat eaters through certain research studies. They have more energy, do not suffer from some of the most prevalent health issues and live longer. This has all been proven.

    • @M4RCi92
      @M4RCi92 7 років тому +4

      Humans are omnivores. We can eat and digest both meat and greens without problem. Here in Hungary, I eat a dish called "tatár beefsteak" quite regularly. It's literally just raw beef with some spices. I've never experienced any issues digesting it so far, nor have my family or anyone I know who likes tatár.

      Oh wow, I was thinking the same and about to ask the same thing. Not only he cleans it up but literally right after he does, he puts oil there...

    • @alufimmorah

      They use extra oil so it can be used to baste the vegetables while they cook. Notice how the Chef picks oil up with his tools and pours it over the vegetables while they cook, this is done to give the vegetables a more even heat distribution.

      We see and know that, we aren't talking about that. There is a part he literally pours more oil then gets rid of it right away.

      TifaLuva The platform was shining to begin with, so I'd assume that there is always a really thin oil layer on it and they had to renew that after the unused side was heated. This was probably done to avoid excess moisture and also to prevent things from sticking to the platform

      He was lubricating and cleaning the area before the wagyu went down! Gotta pay respects to a meat like that with a nice clean, freshly oiled surface.

    Did he cut the meat before resting it properly? Won't that result in the steak losing its juices and moisture?
