I hope they don't mess up the Gel Res 9, it is the perfect shoe for me and I hope they keep it as it is forever
Pretty sure they won’t!!
I tried so hard to find the right fit... couldn't make it work. The sizes are weird (especially in length) and also that support band across the arch is too narrow and tight on me. :( Hope they find a way to fix that for people with high arches - because they look rad!
Gel Res is soooo overrated. Pretty average shoe IMO.
What about best LEATHER grip, best overgrip and strings?
I‘ve never seen the Court FFs in this color 😳 my favorite shoe is the Mizuno Wave Enforcer Tour. Tried the Nike Vapor Pros, Court FFs and Gel Res and none of them ticked all the boxes.
My favorite racket is the VCore 98 💪
Hi, I’m keen to know what bothered you with the FF as I’m curious to know whether or not they are as stable / supportive for the ankle as it is said.
Anyone else Kinde annoyed by the crazy prices on rackets nowadays? I wanted to switch from my old extreme tour 360+ to an 98sq racket but if you look at the prices of the Babolat pure aero for example it’s just insanely expensive especially if u need to buy more than one frame.
The only racket kinda obtainable and good ist the blade since they all dropped the price bc of the upcoming v9.
Luka, thanks for the reviews. Please what mic and camera do you use?
Thank you! I use the Rode Wireless Go II and an iPhone 14 Pro.
Thank you for an awesome video. Just to get context, what is your UTR? Trying to get a feeling for your ratings based on your level. THANK YOU
I have no idea what my UTR is right now, but I would say I'm a 4.5 level player.
V core 98 yeesss🎉
Question. Ordered gravity pro and gravity tour. I’m advanced player playing tournaments. Any big difference apart from weight still haven’t tried them but just for a heads up. Thank you
There is a big difference in feel; the 20 mm beam on the Pro feels "better" but the Tour is much easier to use because of its thicker beam and lighter weight.
Nice
Great video. Off topic question, do you know the difference between the Pro Staff X and the Pro Staff 6.1? It seems like the same racket, just a few gram difference.
They have very different playability and shape. I have never actually played the 6.1 but I assume they will be drastically different rackets because of that shape difference.
Shoes are very individual to the player. I've owned 4 different generations of the Gel Res and I didn't think any of them were particularly great. I much preferred the Nike Cage line, GP Turbo etc.
Hi Luka, for you the Vcore98 is more powerfull, spin, forgiviness, easy to play than Head Extreme Tour Auxetic ? How compare those 2 models? Thanks for your great Job
Thank you! For me, the Vcore 98 has more power and spin but the Extreme is more forgiving, and is much easier to play than the Vcore.
Hi Lucas, have you tried the Yonex 100D or have you scheduled to try it?
We haven't been able to get them into Canada yet.
Best Stability shoes : Court FF3
hi Luca, i would like to ask between Wilson Clash 100 V2 and Head Gravity MP which do you prefer? thank you
Great question. I prefer the Gravity MP because it provides a more pure hitting experience and better control, but the Clash is great for user-friendly power and spin.
Hey Luca
Which racquet gets the easiest depth on forehand the Vcore 100 or the shift 99, which racquet has better power.
The Vcore for both!
Hey Luca, I had toe joint surgery and need a shoe that bends as little as possible when moving forward or serving. For running, rocker shoes do the trick. For tennis, what comes closest?
I think the Gel Resolution 9 would be the best because there is a bit more shoe up there and it's very sturdy.
@@RacketsRunnersVancouver Ahh bummer. Since the 8s they have become too narrow for my feet
hey luka, i'm a competitive 15 year old tennis player and i was wondering what racket you'd recommend me, i like something with spin and power thanks very much 😃
I think the Speed MP would be a great option!
Yonex's VDM sucks for control racket. Even for EZ98, racket that I use. That's why older edition - pre VDM is desirable. For power rackets, VDM is OK
Can you try and review the Mizuno wave enforce tour?
I used mizuno yesterday. Best shoe of my life.
On my 2nd pair, beats gel 9 for sure.
@@kikibeldandy before this, Gel 9 was my favorite all around. But now Mizunos takes the crown for me. To be honest, I wasn’t impressed at first. Not after the 4th time on court and I finally broke it in and it feels amazingly now.
Did the Mizuno’s structure integrity, upper, lateral support and cushion hold up better than Gel9? My Gel 9 felt soft after 2months and cushion thinned out after 3months.
We, unfortunately, can't get Mizuno tennis shoes in Canada.
Wilson built a new machine that can measure lateral bending “RA”, yet have never published any specs to substantiate their marketing claims that the Shift has more lateral bending than competing racquets. Mind you, with Wilson’s QC, who knows what one might end up with!
