Metrotrails Wyoming Valley PA Abandoned Railroad Hike

Metrotrails hike which traced abandoned railroad rights of way through the Wyoming Valley, also including Kingston, Forty Fort, Swoyersville, and West Pittstown. Branches of the Lackawanna and Lehigh Valley Railroads parallel one another, we made somewhat of a loop trying to trace both of them.
We started with the Lackawanna Railroad, we got hung up a bit on the return route on the Lehigh Valley. Some of us managed to duck into a grocery store before the thunder storm.
