It would be great to see photos of the portraits so we know who is being talked about. Like a child, I need to see some pictures! The bay window, the former owner, the garden. Otherwise, it was great to hear about this house. I would love to know more about the renovation.
I think i'll do a 'traditional' episode and will get some footage. I'd also like to get Paul on the podcast, go into a wee bit more detail. See what i can put together 👍🏻
Wow..two video's in one day! What's going on mate? Lol. We've all been spoilt. Loved listening to this. Though I still haven't come down from the thrill of your haunted trails video! Thank you again for entertaining, (and educating) us all 😊. Brilliant.
Well, aren't you spoiling us today my good man! 😉🤜🏻🤛🏻🍻 Wouldn't mind a wee bonus like this every now and then.... The weather was perfect earlier for these two, strong winds and heavy rain! I'm off this week, so some repeats of Eerie Edinburgh is coming up me thinks! Excellent stuff as always....👍🏻👌🏼👏🏻
I took a few days off and it was sooo productive! I definitely need to do that again, ticked off lots of Eerie stuff 👍🏻 definitely will do more of this in future. Thanks for the feedback 😊
Thank you for the video . Old lady brain doesn't usually watch and follow anything longer than about 12 minutes anymore 😂 This was well worth staying alert for . Thanks .
I've been to Bannockburn House as well. I was lucky to get a tour of the building. I really want to find out what is in the locked safe that they haven't been able to open yet.
I love this, learning history, architecture AND ghost stories all at the same time. First thing I'm going to do when I get well again is write a list of these haunted historical places I want to visit. Great video!
Lovely. I find myself wondering if these places, rooms ever warm up from winter. Seems like there'd always be a chill. A chair sitting away from a fireplace etc.
Your opening picture reminds me of the original residents evil game. Maybe they got their design to this story! But I would so love one day to visit these places one day!!
Haha! Don't say that 😄 i live in a Georgian flat in Leith. Moved in 10 years ago today. In the first year here, i found black 'sandy' footprints (adult size) in the shower and i'd come home from work and a bedside lamp would be on. Stopped now and i'm sure there's a rational explanation but that was about all i could take 😄
Thank you so much for this one and all other fantastic ones🎉What was the knocking at 37 :21 , 37:54 and 38:00?I am listening on the headphones and there is a lot of noise in the background in this particular room.
Please please do and let us know what you think. As for the"pig" the lady mentioned ,listen to the song by The Alexander Brothers :"Wee China Pig".It is as cheesy as hell and explains it all😂.I am a self proclaimed Scot (originally from Poland) and during expanding my knowledge on everything Scottish I came across this duo of bards. Not my scene but some may love them.Anyway THANK YOU for everything.I hope this channel expands.Greetings from Aberdeen.
@@annajarczynska7330 Haha! I've never heard that song, but feel like I should have. Sounds like the kind thing my old Grannie and Grandad would play. Its put a wee smile on my face. Those knockings are weird. Honestly, don't remember hearing anything or noticing someone tapping on anything, I'm trying to think of where we stood and if anyone could have been fidget tapping on furniture when we were talking, but I can't quite remember. I now wish I'd video'd it! I'll reach out to Paul and get his take on it and see if something like that has happened previously. Really good spot, thanks for flagging.
I am glad you enjoyed the song😂This kind of music( in small quantities )has a positive sentimental vibe to it.I am so glad I flagged the knocking .I kind of tried to imagine where you guys would be standing and what you could be doing while talking.I just cannot work out why anyone would knock at this point. Please let us know if you manage to find anything.I am putting the house on the list of places to visit this spring. As a person who loves history I have to go and see it, especially when Bonnie Prince Charles( who was half Polish) is involved.
Is there a radio station, someone with a ham radio near that could cause interference? Otherwise it sounds like someone changing the station trying ti communicate like machine that Ghost investigators use. I was half expecting to hear something or someone say something.
Is there a radio station, someone with a ham radio near that could cause interference? Otherwise it sounds like someone changing the station trying to communicate like the machine that Ghost investigators use. Thought I heard breathing, but that could have been you 😮 still I could hear something unusual in the background that I can only explain as that sound you hear when someone is on the line listening and there’s a slight breathing or hollow noise. Perhaps it’s just the quality of the recording, but it made me feel uneasy. I’m listening months later, but it sounded creepy. It was like an open tunnel. I’m sorry…I’m sure it was the power of suggestion, but at 1:06:07, I had to turn the recording off. It was making me feel a bit off. None of your other stuff affects me that way.
The lasses voice alliteration was so vague in sound quality also the tone is not concise enough so words ran into each other and were frustratingly vague. She knows her stuff but needed a few 'goes' in practice. Ironically the sound is 20 x worse on tv with much more clarity on the mobile phone.
1:45 "Construction of the house(Bannockburn) began in the late 1700s and was completed by Sir Hugh Paterson in 1675"! *HUH?!* How can a building be started in the late 18th Century and be completed in the late 17th Century? I quoted what was said in quotation marks as I heard it and I did a near double-take! WTF!!!!!
Hey I see a few people have already commented on the speakers hard to understand. I could understand the lady but that man accent was so thick it was so hard to understand what he was saying. So disappointed that I miss out on some conversations!! The podcast was interesting though but still hard to understand the man words. No disrespect.
I'm in agreement with the previous comment-- I missed a lot of this as I found the audio quality a bit poor for my somewhat deaf ears, and I particularly found the lady with the English accent diffucult to follow. Your own voice is great, just the job for narrating these, so maybe you should consider narrating it yourself?
While she is telling the history there's to much movement or rustling of stuff at the same time, otherwise it could be her accent she is Scottish after all. I personally can understand what she is saying
I’m having a hard time with this one , the pictures do not follow the narration nor does it room to room ! It’s awkward ! And though the tour guides are good I’d rather you ( our original ) narrator do the whole thing and again the empty rooms and stills just don’t work ! Sorry !
Two EE videos in one day? It's like Christmas all over again. Thank you.
😊
Watched two Eerie Edinburgh in one night. I am a very happy woman. (*_*)

Agreed on Haunted Trails. One of the best in the series. Have watched it multiple times.

Brill building and good luck to Paul and the team.

This is such an amazing place! So glad it was saved for future generations!!❤
i could listen to your voice all the way to styx and purgatory if need be
Wow! 😊 thank you!
Happy Sunday everyone ❤
Happy Sunday to you too. 'Proper' episode is out at 5pm 😊
A delightful tour. Thank you so much.
I love that you give some history with the telling of these haunted places.
Thank you for sharing this. ❤
Brilliant video as usual Im learning so much through watching your channel.
Wish you would have videoed some parts of this!!
Not a criticsm just a thought!!

I know! The romantic in me thinks there's enough money in there to renovate the house.
@@eerieedinburgh I was told about a medium, who visited, who said that there was something in the vault that would save the future of the house.
@@AScottishOdyssey Fingers crossed
@@eerieedinburgh It would be amazing to see it open and what's hidden within. I do love a good mystery. Bannockburn House does need to be more famous.
Absolutely, I was raised just a few miles away but never knew of its existence until decades later!
A quiet room lights off relaxing on my bed listening to my second one. Bliss ❤
I hope i helped 😊
Always enjoy finding your stories. Keep doing what you're doing. Fine channel Mr. Errie.
Too kind, my friend. Thank you 😊
Excellent video!!
Absolutely love your channel ❤, I can listen to your amazing accent all day! Thank you for all your hard work!😊
What an amazing place. Thank you for taking us along on your tour!
Yippee! A new EE upload!
Two today 😉 this isn't the official one, just a wee bonus.
Pity we can't see the paintings being described

Great audio, listening in bed with occasional glances to see stills.. On my visit list which will come in handy also. 😊😊

Its definitely worth it 👍🏻

I ive a few short miles from Bannockburn..💙🏴
It was featured on tv in the series Spooked Scotland

Thankyou 🖤 🖤
Really interesting. I can recommend Mike Walkers “ The Stuart’s”. The final chapter is about Charlie’s daughter. It’s on Audible.
In the next episode of Eerie Edinburgh, Mr. Eerie shares the ghost that he accidentally took home 😁😁.

I don't believe the Romans ever got near NORTHERN Scotland??
They never got near the highlands ever
I think our ancestors made it perfectly clear that the Romans were NOT WANTED in Scotland.

In my opinion the interference if isolated from other noise recordings may reveal some audio. 👍👌
It sound like a voice.
Thank goodness for the CC. The echoing boices in that large place were a wee bit muddled for my old ears.
Dont stop making videos please

Subtitles are a thing. Not ideal, but still.
it is hard to understand her. it would be better if you would narrate the entire podcast
Can understand the lady ok tho the commenter says he couldn't

Turn on cc. Problem solved

None taken 😊 he has a braw Scottish accent. I'm thinking of doing a 'traditional' episode to cover it more.

The more you listen to people with accents, the easier they are to follow.

Bad/old wiring in the room possibly.
