I always regretted not being able to meet the rest of the cast especially Deanna she was always my favorite , I was supposed to get with Don and go up to Universal to meet them but it fell through and I dont even remember why ,and we could never seemed to make it happen either I was busy or he was. Don was a Hoot , I remember watching Land of The Giants , and Star Trek , The Galileo 7 with him at his condo, in lajolla , ca. and He Winced when he came up on the screen . He always said he would do it different if he had the chance , He was his harshest critic, I though he did a Great Job Though , Plus he could sell ice to an Eskimo, and he gave me a Great Deal on a 92 Camero RS . and I was a Car Salesman ( as well as he was) at the time and he still talked me into a Deal , I was always immune to any other fellow Car Salesman, but he broke me down and made the sale. He also gave me a sneak preview of his Screen Play that he was writing called " ESCAPE FROM A GIANT LAND" . and I though it was ready to shoot but he wanted to make some changes I have no Idea where the Script is now. I always hoped he would get it made , Maybe someone will someday .Then little while after that he started Signing Autographs at Star Trek Conventions and I kind of lost touch with him , I was shocked to hear that he Died in Oct of 2016 He was in pretty good shape the last time I saw him about 5 yrs before ,, I will miss Those Wild acting stories that he used to tell me over a few Beers .R.I.P. DON ..CATCH YOU LATER ON DOWN THE LINE.. !! JAKE

I remember Don Marshall appearing in an epsiode of the original Star Trek. I think he played Dr. Boma in the episode "Galileo 7" where Spock got his leadership skills put to the test. It's a shame that Don didn't get a recurring role as his character had a lot of depth to him.
It's good to see Don Marshall again , I hope he's okay . His voice sounds like he's a heavy smoker . there's one episode on Buck Rogers he did in the late seventies where he plays an officer . He looked real cool ; on the top of his game and he ad his ear pierced which made him look like a Sci Fi action hero
It wasn't from smoking , Don Had a real bad Sinus Problem I am not sure what from but he was constantly having to clear his throat , and that could be a detriment when he was trying to sell a car , But he still had a Great Record in sales I believe he was a 10 car a week man , ( I was an 8 myself )_ But he did it all Acted, Directed, had a Production Company , almost married Diann Carroll , Sold Cars , Plus he was an Inventor with several Patents I believe , and he was about to go to work for Leonard Nimoy Signing Autographs at Star Trek Conventions the last time I saw him and I believe he did that up until he Died .in 2016 So I believe I can say that he died a Happy Fulfilled Man .
Well according to what Don told me , He read the Script was Totally excited by it and when he got to Paramount Studios the bottom almost fell out because the director( I don"t remember his name ) came over to him and told him he wanted to play Boma as a Fool, a screw up and he was so upset that Leonard came over to him and ask him what was wrong and he told him , Well Leonard (Spock ) raised an eyebrow and said Let me get to the bottom of this. and He came back over after a while , and gave Don a Thumbs up and then the Director came back over Threw the Script at him and said "PLAY IT ANY DAMN WAY YOU WANT!! and stalked off. and the rest is Star Trek History , and one of the Best Episodes period , and it wouldn't have been if the Director wouldv'e had his way

@ricmanification I meet Don Marshall, very nice man. Let's not forget is other sci-fi appearances on the Original Star Trek (good thing he wore a blue shirt and not a red shirt if you know what I mean) and Buck Rogers. Also Deena still very beautiful.
Yeah he told me he was so relieved when he read the Script and found out he had a Blue shirt , He still had it in his Closet ,The last time I saw him , it Still fit him too a little wrinkled , Velour doesn't last well over time
