I was watching an episode of Land of the Giants yesterday and I searched Google to see what happened to Don, and found out he died at 84 - basically old age. Totally weird. Life is too short.

Dennis Patrick played Keema the Golden Man. Don Matheson was IDAK the robot in Lost in Space season two and an alien father in a Season One Lost in Space story.

Cleopatra was released in 1963. Land of the Giants started in 1968. A bit of a stretch to blame Cleopatra for the demise of LOTGs!

auteurAM Cleopatra drained the budgets of productions for years.. sets . production time and costs are projected years in advance. projects scheduled for 1969 were cancelled in 65 because of Cleo's problems!! many proposed series were abandoned because they couldn't afford the production cost when they owed the banks millions!
