Novak want to win this year US open at any cost because he faced lot of humiliation in last 3 years. Similar to Australian open win in 2022. He determined more than any body.
No just humiliation, but as the greatest hard court player of all time, winning the US Open fewer time that Rafa was a bad look. Winning a 4th US Open title was also important for his legacy.
@@vukforest223 In the short term, they did humiliate him. But I agree that in the long term, Novak and his fan base are the ones that have had the last laugh. They thought they could ruin him, they thought the world's public opinion would be against him and in favor of politicians, pharmaceutical firms and the media, they thought that his career was over, they though that all his sponsors would leave him....they were WRONG! 1. Novak has come back with a vengeance, and has won 4 of the 6 majors he has participated in since since they deported him from Australia. And he was runner-up in one more major. That's an incredible 38-2 record in majors since his deportation from Australia, and 34-1 in his last five major appearances. He also won 2 Masters 1000 and an ATP Final. That's 7 Big titles in under 2 years. 2. Novak has returned to #1, overtaken Steffi Graf as the tennis player with the most weeks at #1 in the history of the game. 3. While Peugeot and UKG did leave Novak, Head, Asics, Hublot and Lacoste have all stuck with their man, and right now, you can bet that heads are rolling over at Peugeot and UKG for their lack of loyalty and shortsightedness because Novak has now cemented his legacy as the GOAT. Meanwhile, Lacoste, Hublot, Asics and Head are all looking great! 4. Finally, and most importantly, as the truth emerges about the vaccine, its complete ineffectiveness in stopping the spread of the disease, and the way politicians and the media knew all of that but essentially accepted payoffs to impose dystopian and oppressive mandates, ruin people's livelihoods and vilify those who chose not to vaccinate, Novak has emerged as a man of principle and conviction. Before any brainwashed simpleton attempts to refute my statements above, bear in mind that I personally believe in vaccines and was myself quadruple vaxxed for COVID. Not only did I choose to take the vaccine, I believe that the vaccine is effective in curtailing extreme symptoms, and as such, for at-risk people, I highly recommend taking the vaccine. I would certainly choose to vaccinate again knowing all that I know now. Two of my dearest cousins, and one of their husbands, died of COVID in the early days of the pandemic, before the vaccine was available. They were in their late 70s, and had other underlying health issues, but they are sorely missed. However, for healthy children and young adults, the vaccine should never have been mandated, and I respect, and tip my hat at Novak for having had the strength of his conviction.
Please watch the handshake again between Novak and Ben. Everyone says how icy it was but Novak gave the same look he always does after winning. He made eye contact and cocked his head with a “sorry I beat you” look. Watch from an angle where you see Novak’s face, not Ben’s. I think Ben did see the “dialed in” as Ben explained, or “hang up” as everyone else says. Whatever, Ben was icy, Novak not. Why am I the only one who saw it from the angle where you see Novak’s face. Great convo and analysis guys otherwise
Maybe it was blown out of proportion. Could Novak not have done it? Yes, but it's not like it's not in his historical behaviour to be provocative specially of the crowds. Wimbledon and New York have been historically rough for him. But 100% he's always very classy at the net.
Djokovocs numbers speak 4 themselves his resilience is as a matter of fact something never seen b4 anyway idk comes 2 mind a gr8 like Mats Wilander who talked about Djokovic as d BOAT (Best) not GOAT cuz Gr8ness is something that goes beyond stats n I kinda agree tbh.
25min on Ben Shelton and his run... He is hot because he is new... i don't know if his dad will teach him something... i just saw an article saying that Novak's phone was rude, like mocking Ben. We will see. Thanks for the show.
@@mir-jan3496Right. Once it’s done by Novak, it’s inappropriate for the public but when it’s done by someone else oh its beautiful and appropriate. Bunch of hypocrites and Jealous people. They all were not expecting Novak to be where he is today? God’s grace, mercy and favor makes the difference.
So blessed to witness The Greatness of Greatest tennis 🎾 player who ever played the game, Novak Djokovic 🐐❤️🎾💪

Novak transcends tennis after his stance on his bodily autonomy. He is the GOAT, end of story.
The Greatest on and off the court

If Novak's phone was rude, then was Ben's phone also rude against Tiafoe. Sometime kids must be put on their place, arrogance is not appreciated.

Steve is a great analyst but he has to stop calling Daniil...Daniel
For some it's hard to lose the habit... But yea his analysis is worth the time for sure!
Better than one guy who makes video about Novak and call him Djokovik all the time😂
