Jeff Combs rare early interview

Jeff interview on the set of "Bride of Re-Animator" from the Stuart Gordon episode of "Son of the Incredibly Strange Film Show," a UK program from 1989.

Check out the scene when the interviewer asks Jeff how he gets into the character of West. Jeff merely takes the West glasses from his lap and put them on...and bloody fucking amazingly, you see Jeff's whole face transform into Herbie. Wow. Just...wow. :)

I love his voice. I don't know what it is, but I love it a lot. He's got one of those voices you'd never forget. He was the Question, Ratchet, and from what I understand, he did a lot of Star Trek appearances.

Classics meant the world to original ideals & such are legendary ... As old as I was watching my first classics I always jumped out my seat or my dreams being good turned to nightmares heh ... I was in a bar about a year ago and for some reason the conversation turned to the best mad scientist and the popular opinion was Gene Wilder as Dr. Frankenstein. While that was fun I said Herbert West aka Jeffery Combs and so much scoffing to the idea. Are you kidding me you are going to go with a Mel Brooks comedic role over this role which was comedic in its own right but no he had the knowledge, the obsession and just the overall myopic view that is a mad scientist?
