Albert, thanks for your fantastic video. Of all the Sony A1 II videos I’ve watched, yours is by far my favourite. I really like how you integrated a wide variety of shooting scenarios into your video so we can see the camera in action. And, you’re such a humble guy. I have a few questions for you comparing this camera to the A7RV: - Is the LCD larger and higher resolution than the A7RV? - Besides the drive mode dial, are there any differences in the handling? For example, is the grip larger? - Is the IBIS noticeably better?
Great information. I’m going to stick with my A1i for a while longer. Most impressive thing I took away from the video was how much weight you carry in your camera bag. The forest shot at the beginning used lots of heavy lenses.
Thanks. I do wish that they had kept the compensation dial with the markings on it (I had brought this up 6 months ago with Pro service) apart form that the camera fulfils what I had hoped for from the upgrade so will be trading in my A1 for this
Very nice pictures Albert! Can you also tell us which forest (location) you have visited to take these amazing pictures? I would like to visit it, next year.
Thank you for your in depth video. But I think you should be a spokesman for your area, because now I want to travel to your town in Denmark!! Well done.
Very interesting, thanks for posting. Noted your method of focusing on the fly’s eye whilst it was sitting on a mushroom - why didn’t you use the A1 11’s insect eye focus? Doesn’t it work?
Nice presentation, it reflects your passion of photography. Did you happen, or had the opportunity to test the eye autofocus for the facetted eyes of insects yet? That would be a very delicate way to add to the macro options too. grtz Rob
Thank you Albert .. very good review, there is one thing I want to know and I still can’t find a resource for it which is compare the resolution of A7r4/5 to the A1 side by side .. I want to see the difference between the 60 and 50 make megapixel because in many times I crop a lot .. specially for birds, do you have any side by side shots ?
Hoi Albert, ik heb zojuist dezefde setup aangeschaft. geef jij toevallig weleens live tutorials? ik zou graag eens ‘n keertje met je meelopen en leren! is dat misschien mogelijk?
A71M2 Probably doesn’t overheat & 30fps full raw. Doesn’t lock up etc. & most likely still the best total AF system available today. Don’t get me wrong, if one has a smaller budget, the Canon is a great deal & I have been saying for years that the original Canon R5 & 100-500 is the best bang for buck & still do with its reduced price point. With that said, there is a reason most news media & sports photographers have switched to Sony. Doesn’t mean everyone should or needs to. But it would be nice to know that when one presses the shutter, they have a better than 90% chance of nailing the shot!
Seen a few reviews plus the intro video. I clicked on your vid because of the photos in the thumbnail. Did not disappoint! Beautiful work! Think I’ll watch you lens review next.
Do you need "everything" !? I have the excellent Sony A7RV which was less than half the price of the A1, I get better image quality than the A1 and I can have two Cameras for less than the price of a A1 !
Regarding features, sure, the OM System is great. But regarding image quality in terms of ISO performance and Dynamic Range, you really can't compare the OM System with any high end full frame system.
Such beautiful pictures as always! Every single "example" picture is an absolute delight to see
Thank you for the work you have done over all these years with Sony. Great job! We will enjoy it like kids. Congratulations, it was worth the wait.
Thank you!
Very nice camera presentation. The images of owls and flying raptors are amazing. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you so much! What wonderful pictures, what great art work!
Beautiful photos
Very well done video and review. Your macro/landscape shots of the mushrooms are wonderful. You have a new subscriber. Thank you!
thank you!
27:36 is a hooded merganser and 28:20 is a great gray owl! Nice photos.
Awesome! Thank you
Thanks! You covered a couple of things no one else has. I have mine pre-ordered!
Awesome!

Schitterende foto's van die paddestoelen, in het bijzonder die met de plas water links en de close-ups. Prachtig gedaan Albert!

You're "here's a demo of the camera" photos are better than most people's "here's some great photos I took" photos. Keep up the good work.
Haha thanks! Well just always trying to take decent photos :)
Super video thank you, I share the same love of nature and wildlife mix and am stepping up from the R4 so this helped me alot ..
Awesome!

lots of them are in the Speulder Forest. I also mention it in the video.
Very nice review. The farm where you shot the pictures of the owl and eagle. Where is it? is it a public place to visit?
Not public. On request! They organise photo sessions with the birds
Thank you for your in depth video. But I think you should be a spokesman for your area, because now I want to travel to your town in Denmark!!

Netherlands, he lives in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Why do people always think I'm Danish 😂

Yes. Worked sometimes, but not always.
Nearly 8000 €. Have photography brands gone nuts?. These prices are really... I prefer to keep my word 🤐
Thanks Albert
What I really would like to know is how the video capabilities stack up against the cinema line FX3.

Albert, thanks for the great early look at the A1 II, I really enjoyed it. For the higher ISO shots did you apply any kind of noise reduction at all?
Yes I did! Only showing the original at the ducks crop. The rest. NR was applied.
@@AlbertDrosPhotography Thanks for the answer Albert. Was the NR the Lightroom Denoise or some other application?
@@paulnewman2050 all with LR

Spec seams very similar to the Canon R5 but 0ver $2000 more expensive, are Sony intent on pricing themselves out of the market

that question is really for you. Some need it, some want it, some don't need or want it :)
@@AlbertDrosPhotography Very few really need it.
Except price. Sadly way overpriced. Get an OM System OM-1MKII if you want same features lower price. Bar the MP.
