Good day Guys. Yes aging. I told neighbor I aged 5 yrs last yr. Well he said "I can be lucky I didn't age 10.". Told another fellow he said "you were lucky you did aged" So I guess I should be satisfied. Thanks
Your doing better than me on getting your disc fixed. Took mine apart last November and just now got it back together. Video coming out next week. It will be a good one to watch. It starts out last November and then in update in December, some in January, last part I thought in February. Finally put it together to find the shaft was to short because of the updated new bearing and had to make a special order from Shoup that showed up 2 weeks ago. All put back together. I think you will enjoy the road blocks that came up, lol.
Thanks for the update Pete that’s a good looking plow you purchased it looks great behind the International. Take care and stay safe Pete hope you have a Blessed Easter Weekend 👍
Plow looks good. We are antiques, not suppose to be even thinking of plowing anymore. Trouble with the minimum/no till stuff is the no till planters are expensive as is minimum tillage equipment.
It's always the blades at the dead end that get messed up.. Our big offset disc has nits on both ends of each shaft, but usually still have to drop the gangs to work on it.
That plow sure looks to be in good shape I got a couple I need to replace the bottoms on, if it wasn't raining today I'd be working on them actually lol
Good day Yea good job getting that done. I have a ford 201 3 pt ht, beating gone they $283. for one, more than what disc is worth... They are as wide as area is between 2 blades 6-7 ins. What did you bearing cost? Thanks
What is the correct lift cylinder size for the 110? I just bought a used one w/no cylinder and haven’t been able to get the size info. Is it a 3x8? 3x10? Thanks!
Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't the 1486 a 130hp tractor? I've used a 1486 (2-wheel drive w/duels) to pull 6 16-inch bottoms with no trouble at all in our shale. I think it would be a little much for the AC180 but, I'm only guessing what your soil is like. Around here, our shale takes about 20hp per 16" bottom, but you won't be going real fast. Are you planning to use this plow behind the 1086?
Awesome work friend
Definitely prefer 16s
Yup. I went from 14s years ago to the 18s. Never liked the 18s.
Love it when the outer disc breaks ;) :( We are all getting older...

We just have to keep going as best we can.

Looing forward to the video!
great video thanks for taking us along.
The 14 ought to pull 4 sixteen inch bottoms like there's nothing back there! Nice purchase!
Thanks! When I hit a patch of clay I'll know it's there :)
Starting to mark another item or two off the To Do List. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the ride along. ROCK ON FARMER PETE.
Thanks! We keep on keeping on.
We had a 5 18 plow. Worked better than the manual reset. Also good job being the " last man standing" 👍

Thank you.

True. Plus, I like to bury the weed seeds deep.
International made good plows. I have a 710 with 3 16 inch bottoms and a 720 with 4 18 inch bottoms. You'll like the one you bought.

Yup. Got to take 'em all apart to get to them.
That plow is in nice shape! It reminds me of my Ford four bottom semi mount :)
I'm happy with what I've seen so far.
I knew there would be a bad bearing. Never fails
I should have guessed.
The two IH’s were made for each other. Have a friend north of me has the same plow and he said no one has enough money to buy it from him .
I'm glad to hear that! Thanks!

Not too bad, about $30. I ended up ordering one from All State Ag Parts.
👍
Does this plow have the side hill hitch on it? Have had a set of 700's for over 30 yrs and got a backup set of 710's 4x16.
No, this one doesn't. I wish it did. I'll try to live without it.

I'll use this behind the 1486. We have every soil type. When you hit the heavy clay 4 bottoms is enough.
How is the new Nissan truck
I like it. Does what I need it to do.
