Learn To Hit The Ball Softly With These Simple Exercises
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 чер 2024
- Controlling the racket head means controlling the squash ball. Specifically, being able to hit soft shots from your opponent's hard shots is a skill you can learn and develop. The drill in this video has three progressions from three locations on the court.
Once you have watched the video, let me know if you have any questions via the comments and I will response as soon as I can.
BTW, the whole video was recorded on my phone, except for the overhead view, which was recorded with a YI 4k action camera. I am quite impressed with the quality. Not as good as my Panasonic camcorder, but good enough for this sort of video. Please let me know in the comments if you have any feedback about the actual recording quality - thanks.

Thank you.
Another awesome drill, thanks Phil. Hope all is going well.
Glad you like it. Due to get my hip replaced next month, but should get at least one more video out before then.
@@BetterSquash hope all goes well and you are back to fighting fit soon.
My Missus has been suggesting this for years ;-)
Good luck.
Terrific video! Thanks Coach!
You are most welcome.
Great video Philip. We must teach everything you know to our young people here. See you soon.
I am having my other hip replaced this summer, but I will message you soon and we can talk.
Hello coach
Can you post a weekly schedule
To improve my game and movement
I will try that out
Thanks
Without knowing anything about you, it's very difficult. Honestly, I don't have enough time to do these things for people. I would suggest something like this though:
20% on solo drills and technical improvement.
30% on pair drills and conditioned games,
30% on your fitness - you have to decide how much strength, cardio, flexibility etc
10% on friendly matches
10% on competitive matches
@@BetterSquash thank you
can you make a video about how to use feints to trick your opponenet direction wise
I promise to make one, one day.
I always do soft moves!
Good for you!
Backhand?
Let me be honest, the backhand footage got corrupted, so I just posted the forehand version. It's the same technique anyway.
