Kind Sir Troy; you have no idea what you have done for me. IE: in the yrs 1946, 47, 48 and 49: I took lessens on the "Hawaiian Guitar" in Chicago; as they called it then. "Steel Guitar" would NOT come about for 10 more yrs. When Nashville changed it; so it would NOT be seem Hawaiian music. Rather Country music. Anyway...
The teacher, Letritia Kandle, taught me first on A tuning, then C# minor, then E7th; to the "nth" degree, reading notes, no less. But, just before I quit taking lessons; she introduced me to "B11th". But I never understood it. And I did NOT like the sound. So I rarely played it. Now...
I said all of the above, to say this: When I saw you change; from B, D# F# A C# E; to other tunings using the B11th chord; it blew me away. Because, I had heard that sound many times. But I could NEVER get that standard B11th (on my 6 String); to sound like that. And now dear friend, I CAN do it! Bless your heart.
I can never thank you for what you have done Tory! Thanks a million. May Jesus continue to bless you with musical talents galore. And take care dear friend.

@@LessonsWithTroy @Troy Brenningmeyer The honor is all mine dear friend. Because I have known most of the Greatest SG players. Since I was never a good player; I KNOW when one is great. And to me YOU are one of them. And I am honored to know you kind Sir.
At age 90, I don't get around much any more. But knowing many of the greatest SG players over 70 yrs; it brings tears of nostalgia. Amen! And i love to watch and listen to you play and/or teach. NONE Finer!
