Great. Wish I had all this material available back in the early 70's when I started learning to play the lap steel guitar. Man... I had to do it alone. Thank you for sharing all this info.
Wow Troy! That was a very Interesting and NEEDED teaching. Thank you so much kind Sir. If any one can't understand what you teach; they can NOT be taught atoll! "I rest me case!".
I played guitars for 35 years and recently decided to dive myself in country lap steel licks; thinking about players like Lloyd green (sweetheart of rodeo). Your videos really helps. You sound great ! Thanks from Paris, France.
Troy, that was a great lesson! You are a mine of information! Would it be possible to have another camera on your volume pedal so we could see it in conjunction with the palm levers and the bar? Thanks
Hey Troy. I love your lessons on here, but why change the key of D to G of this tune when you are in open D tuning? My favorite lick is the original guitar lick in the beginning of this tune. Thanks.
Thanks for the lesson Troy! I just got my Duesenberg Fairytale after using a modified Epiphone Les Paul on my lap for years. Where do you get the foam for the benders? Is that a Home Depot item?
I can barely find my way around my guitar this os the most beautiful sounding instrument I’ve heard wish i could figure it out !

Troy, you are amazing. Absolutely beautiful! Question? I'm new at this lap steel thing. What gauge strings do I need to play in open D? Thanks
