Work place got us these, They had charged batteries over 12 hrs before we tried to use. But they wouldnt come on with any of the batteries, plugged charger up to battery and unit would come on. But if you remove charger it instantly shuts off. Is there anything to link batteries to unit or could all the batteries be bad?
Hi Jeff can u give me a link where can i buy the gas replacement filter. And also do u need to change the frame door if u use the moubtain breeze filter and the gas filter? Thanks
Hi Paul! You can purchase the gas replacement filter is here: optrel.us/product/a1b1e1-gas-filter/. In regards to the mountain breeze filter, if you haven't bought one before, get the "Mountain Breeze Starter Kit" (optrel.us/product/mountain-breeze-starter-kit-for-e3000x/) which includes the clip and the filter and after that you can just buy the replacement mountain breeze filter.
The e3000x PAPR works with an optrel PAPR hood: optrel.pulse.ly/w173y189c0 The Swiss Air can be word alone or paired with a hood (any optrel non-PAPR hood, your existing hood, regardless of brand, a Clearmaxx face shield, etc.)
Hi Jeff, i currently have the Crystal2.0 with the e3000 PAPR, im looking at getting the panaramaxx clt but i want to swap over the filter gear in the helmets so the clt can run the papr and the 2.0 will be a standard helmet. Can this be done as a simple swap over or are they completely different helmets?
Hi Cam, thanks for your comment. You would need to purchase the CLT PAPR version (optrel.us/product/panoramaxx-clt-papr-silver/) because the CLT and the crystal 2.0 have different face seals and internal airflow ducts and aren't interchangeable.
Hey Vikas, it’s really simple to do. First, attach the gas filter by clipping it in place. Then stack the HEPA filter on top of the gas filter by clipping it on top. (You stack one on top of the other.) The gas filter must be used in conjunction with the HEPA filter (not by itself). The video shows me taking the HEPA filter on and off, so that’s the location where both filters go.
@@OptrelUS Does HEPA filter means particle filter??what is the abbreviation of it...thanks for ur enlightenment though as the dealer in Pune(India)I bought it from didn't educate me honestly
The clearmaxx for PAPR is considered a loose-fitting hood. The unit works off positive pressure inside the hood forcing air out. The only air that can enter is through the HEPA filter.
I have had mine for almost a year and I love it.
Great to get comparison. Time for a papr and I knew little to nothing about them before this. Thx
Glad it helped!
PAPR Store is about to open. Can we sell your units? Also what model do you have that can be used for PPE?
Crazy system
Hi I can still smell the welding fumes (sometimes) should I need the gas filter for welding

Do you know if you can use this blower on the respirator mask that covers just the mouth and nose or do you have to buy their other blower?

I’ve always wanted one for shop use, or confined space.
