Yes!! I knew he was sick but I was praying he would beat the cancer. Saved By the Bell was everything on a Saturday morning plus the reruns before school. I loved the New Class and College Years episodes too.

@@robd1329 Maybe so but we all have our issues in life I know I haven’t been perfect at the end of the day we don’t know if he was trying to make right with God or not we only saw what he was doing in the public eye.If he was in his house and he was praying to God to make right and all that that’s between him and God at the end of the day it’s not for us to judge how he lived his life that’s for God.

@@AB-ce5fg he was 16 when they did the movie. I cannot believe he was that young. He was about 12 when they started the original series.
@@AB-ce5fg I enjoyed the early high school time, lots of classics with Screetch (RIP) and the gang. Every Saturday morning one of the channel has reruns of SBTBelll I still watch it!
I loved it because school was so similar to what we wanted iur school to be like for that time it was
I briefly hung out with Dustin. I'll always remember his kindness, silliness, convincing friends and I to climb up to the roof of my house and for that moment as we all sat (thank God!!) Dustin decided to stand up and perform a comedy routine!!! The backsop, beautiful city lights as the sun was setting and as dark as it was, he was the shining light of evening!!! Because of his schedule, I ended up becoming owner of his dog who he named. That precious little dog passed away in 2013 after a long and very happy life. Dustin, thanks again for being so sweet and kind, especially to my mom who was also at that time suffering with lung cancer made her laugh and who shared your silliness. Now that you're both in Heaven, you can crack each other up!! Rest in peace!!!!!

Watched this dude lock himself in a dressing room of a comedy club demanding to be paid up front, which they did. Then had his coke dealer come into his room, got coked out of his mind and demanded that his friend open instead of the local comic that was about to take the stage. The local guy made a comment and screech then tried to fight him in front of the entire crowd. As well as about 3 fans that tried to stop him. What a good dude

And yes I believe that the cast of save by the bell, should had called Dustin Diamond aka Screech back to redo the new save by the bell. It was wrong for them not to include him in it. YESSSS all the other characters easily replaceable. He and the writers as a team was the reason the show had such great success.
Yeah, they kicked him to the curb. But he was the comic relief on that show and the only reason I would watch it.
They all disrespected him after the show was over and treated him like a pariah. Then he struggled for years afterwards.
And now this horrible tragedy happens to him. He was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago and he’s gone already. Cancer is ruthless and brutal.

He had a lump in his throat that he was ignoring. His girlfriend had urged him to get it checked out, and that's when it was found out that he had cancer and it had spread extremely rapidly. He didn't even have a chance to fight it!
Heartbreaking
The most heartbreaking thing about it is he apparently was so reluctant to go because he was afraid that pictures would get out and everyone on social media would mock him.
The man was not perfect, but he didn't deserve to be just continuously attacked and mocked the way he was.
May his soul rest in peace.
My mom had symptoms that she hid for years, around 5 years, didn’t see a gynecologist didn’t tell a doctor of her symptoms, well it was very treatable uterine cancer, had they caught it early, but since they caught it super late, she died at 51. Sad. Any major change you see in your body, get it checked out ASAP.
I know, stage 4 lung cancer is brutal. It metastasized to his throat and probably gave him thyroid cancer too.
My grandfather did the same 😔

It's so sad that he gave up his childhood to entertain people but then didn't live a long life with his rewards. Thanks Dustin. You really entertained me growing up and I appreciate all the laughs.

He lived with me the last half of 2020. He was kind, made a joke out of everything. He was singing all hours of the day. He didn’t feel sick until December. But it was Bad when it hit him. RIP my friend
I also know a comic who said he was an asshole. But he was not when I knew him. We all have positive /negative inside of us.

@@mizzmini45 I haven’t read his book, but I heard him apologize repeatedly. Not only that, but he appeared to be very sincere, humble, and very sad inside for the mistakes he made. We all make mistakes that we look back and want to kick ourselves. He had a gentle, loving vibe about him. That’s just my opinion and what I saw in his eyes.

I grew up watching Saved by the bell and Screech was my favorite. I was heavily abused in school and at home but Dustin always made me feel accepted. Such a talented guy and i absolutely stood in complete shock when the news broke.. i just lost it. yes, he had cancer but I just really believed he would pull through. FUCK CANCER! So sick of death... RIP Dustin. You will be very very missed.

When I heard that he was hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I couldn't believe it. I immediately felt for him and his family. I had no idea the type or that it was terminal. I grew up watching him and loved Screech. To know that he was so young and to have his life cut so short is just so awful. I pray his family and friends are getting through this loss. RIP Dustin. 🙏🏽🙏🏽💙💜

This was very well done. The role of Screech was always going to be a weight to bear for whoever played it, and yet it never seemed too heavy for Dustin. If you saw him around he had fun with it and as he said he was proud of it. He was a great guy who deserved more, I thank him for all the laughs when I needed them most and I’ll miss him.

Dustin Diamond was an amazing actor and comedian. His natural abilities to make people laugh and smile was endless. Dustin Diamond,(Screech) was the heartbeat that made Saved By The Bell the show it became and was the reason thousands of people tuned in to watch the show. His comic abilities came natural and was one of the funniest actors I have ever watched. We will miss you Dustin Diamond!

I will always remember him as young screech, hence the reason it’s so hard. I feel like a teenager died. He was a good actor. In general I never knew him obviously but it is still sad and a tragedy. The heard he was in pain. I hope he didn’t suffer much.

Dustin Neil Diamond is going to be missed by all of us and he was hilarious as Screech and I never forgotten how talented he really was and I never stopped thinking about him and he may rest his talented soul forever and ever since we lost him this year 2021
He was the best in the show.
I was only a little sprog, but I can still remember seeing this series, and laughing out loud everytime his character came on.
