- I haven't played the GK in a while, and she's been having the secondary overload added recently, and engines improved, which is nice. Always enjoying some of my favourite ships getting buffed. So let's take her out for some battles. No cuts, just half an hour of casual gameplay :)
Given the ... occasionally questionable moves, I'm inclined to play the Hindenburg next...

Yeah, it gets pretty tiresome when within 3 minutes half of your team yolo and get sunk.
Yeah ... Pretty usual , but when I encounter such situations.. I just run away from from enemy team and maximize my damage done in game .😂😂
The first two were classic.. you defending flanks, getting pounded by cv, cruisers dying to DDs, BB pushing to hunt bot CVs and friendly DDs being completely useless!! Typical random battle. I guess it is one of the reason GK struggles, it plays well with a good team. Anyway, Stuka and the Vermont must be so happy getting featured. Great vid Terry! Will look forward to more unfiltereds. I guess the hard earned tactically sound win, especially after a devastating, helplessly lost battle is what brings us back to the game. It’s a lot of fun watching it happen real-time. Been liking potato quality ‘s one take series too since some time. Same theme.. great idea
Cheers, glad you enjoy it! Yeah, the toil of random battles. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Can't carry them all. I'd still go out in the GK in randoms, just for the fun of it - when she works, she can be glorious.

Thank you for video Terry! I really love Großer Kurfüst too. Secondary overload skill is very useful against Shimas and other dds 😄
Great video. Yea I’m about 80k from the GK and I am excited for this ship. I actually have Hipper in my FDR. I love the German BB, but the only thing they struggle with is Carriers lol. I always get carrier focused and dead in first 2 min by a shima. Looking At this terry. You killed one of my fleet members, spearfisher In his Goliath.
The only thing that was preventing me from going in there was the Mino tbh - that bugger got so lucky. 16 Mino torps is something even a GK doesn't shrug off.

It's a game at the end of the day, it's meant to be fun - if it's not, putting it aside is the best thing to do. I have runs sometimes where I just can't get a good game, in random team games, that's how it goes sometimes ;)

I heard that GK will be replaced in the near future, I hope that I can grind her in time. But I still don’t get why she only has 4x2 turrets and not 4x3 turrets like on the pc version
Yeah, I heard something about it in the PC WG website, this change will come too in blitz?

Yes, you have buy the historical camo. 😉 Very good thing for the gun (range and dispersion are very important because we can't every time take a close position and brawl, and if you take damage and don't have the range to say "thank you, now eat my AP"... Memory of my T9 Alsace with arroud 13.50 kms...) and the survivability.
The new skill for the secondary is great. I have play with my Kurfurst the first day to try.
For the deck protection, I don't know (honestly no search) if one people have make a test to see the difference with or without (hello U2!). It's a little RNG vs big RNG (like Midway or Smolensk). I play with propulsion, because on the T9 I have see no difference with the number fire when I have use the deck, before to go on propulsion. But on the commander, I use the deck protection in skill 12.
For the matchmaking T10, I see on NA server it's can be "funny" like on EU server. 😂
How about some Italian Unfiltered???

If you have the Alldestroyer camu you can get even more secondary range(with overload 9.2 on the auto and 10.5+ on the normals). I really like the New skill. "Sekundärgeschützüberlastung"

Hi Terry, real nice video today! Haven't been with the community for almost a year now becuase my tablet ws no longer able to handle the game. I am looking to upgrade and was wondering what device you use for the game? I'm looking in getting a phone as my old one is 3 years old and cost me only 100nzd!
Right now, I'm using an Asus ROG 3. My previous phone was an LG G7, that worked pretty ok, but was starting to struggle if I was recording in 60fps.

Terry Ive got a question is the Great elector really worth the Grind I've had the FDG for quite awhile but never pushed for the next step real hard. So what I'm saying is, is it a improvement worth getting.
I think so. The armour is great, and the engines have been buffed, bigger main gun calibre, and you don't get T9 matchmaking

Hi, may i ask, for the commander lvl 12 skills, which is better? deck protection or more citadel damage?
from what i experience, the average of citadel dmg is around 4k for GK. citadel traits on lvl12 add 7.5%. which means GK only get around additional 300 dmg from citadel, but thats it if the RNG love you.
While deck protection modification on lvl12 grants the GK 10% resist fire and 10% deck protection (which i don't understand what is the meaning of deck protection).
So from your perspective, which is better for GK?
I would pick deck protection. The extra citadel damage isn't worth it imo.
Any fire resistance you can get is good to have in higher tiers. My theory (unverified) is that different parts of the ship have different armour thickness - belt is usually the thickest, bow and stern are pretty weak, turret fronts have pretty thick plating, and decks have their own armour as well. This is possibly what gets improved here.
In any case, GK relies on tanking to get into secondary range, and so as much damage as possible.
@@FunandGameswithTerry yea i also thinking the same since GK brawl oftenly and getting much HE from DD and CL because of short range main shelling, and burn from CV. And yeah 300 additional dmg looks like not worth, waiting for RNG to be activate.

I'm overall most disappointed by German BB shell dispersion...😑
I'm working up Black Bismarck now beefed up for better dispersion & still inexplicably shells flying stupidly wide...
German BB dispersion isn't great, the precise aim 1 does help a little, but mostly that's just to pass the time till you can get into secondary range.

(To be fair, I was horrible the first year, and the 48% WR is bad, but I dont think that tells the whole story, as Ive Battle Starred in 22%. Its my story and Im stickin to it!!🤣)

13:02 u should have pushed CAP C , there were only two battleship , enemy GK was half. Health and and montana really weak armer and firepower u could hold well in GK plus u had yamato , AND UR destroyers .. U might have pulled the game . ...
Instead u trying to chase CAP A where u have 3 enemy destroyer , ... U couldnt have defended cap A even with friendly montana...
I think that was a tactical mistake on ur part . 😮😮

meh, such is life in random team games :) But I like showing this side from time to time, rather than the curated / selected battles I'm using for reviews.

ah, sorry - I'm sailing with the armour choice, although they're both really good. You could go full secondaries, but I have the tendency to take on multiple targets at the same time...
the hardest thing to choose for me is always the elite bonus bc it needs gold in order to change
you were a bit unlucky in this video but GK is so great my fav ship in the game and its not even fully upgraded yet
