For anyone who has no idea on what this and the upcoming Pan-Asian premiums are: Wukong is basically Charles Martel Bajie is an Izumo(oh god) Wujing is an Alsace(why) Sanzang is a Saipan(Oh hell no) The details are from the WoWS wiki These names are chosen (not my decision) as they are the protagonists from one of the best Chinese novels "The Journey to The West"(or 西遊記 in Chinese characters). Note that 'The West' in here doesn't refer to Europe, it refers to India(don't ask why)
Well, that saves me from having to review the others as well. They're basically a mixture of black ships and a crossover event, similar to the WH40k ones. I don't mind the theme, but I think forcing the camo onto us is actually a disservice. Not everyone likes crossovers, and I would have been happy with an alt-history PA BB with a historical camo.

I watched the movie "Journey to the West" all these new ships are based off of it. Since I loved the movie, I bought the bundle and hope to see the pig dude and Soviet carriers soon. Another challenge for the Japanese
The extra slavo is good,but these things all add into why the ship cost so much exp to unlock.and money this is part of the problem how much things cost and these crate chances,they sell it as " look this is such a great mod and ship,so it cost this because of these gimmicks. I do get that extra Salvo can make a brawl or dd rush in your favor,but theses mods may need a little bit of a rework cause there adding very little if in fact nothing .It reminds me of the deck protection mod video u did a while back and u showed the Mod doesn't do much or in fact u caught fire more using it,then not.Great video Terry! U always make my Sunday evening great.
In the past.... before Alsace got her Rapid reload skill, she used to have 20 secs reload or so then she got the rapid reload to match the rest of the line and got a reload nerf for balance reasons I guess. (PD: Could you make an update video on your dispersion video explaining sigma values and all those shenanigans I find them very messy to comprehend)

Regarding camo: I also prefer that those camo paints though at times quite beautifully done, not change the looks of ships radically or make the ship looks weird in any particular color such as red or green fluorescent etc. But I am someone who likes to have maximum stats and performance in anything and unlike in the wotb where camo paint is just technically a skin, in wowsb the camo paints actually have extra 4 ship stats modifiers which may improve the ship in question. Thus I tend to regard wowsb camo paints as 4 additional (albeit fixed) equipment upgrades for any ships and if there is a camo more suitable for a particular ship although it makes the ship looks horrendous I will buy that paint if it is for a ship that I play a lot regularly.
I get the sentiment, but personally, even if the stats are better, I wouldn't sail in a camo that I can't stand. There are a couple of decent, ahistorical ones, I think the Iron Cross for German BBs or something that I really don't mind, but if it's a honking great red scorpion rotating on top of my Yama, then they can put it where the sun doesn't shine. Only my personal preference - happy for everyone else to like what they like :)

Terry, the camo is there to represent the character culturally, and actually does well on that aspect with the detail present. If you do not have an interest in those sorts, that's fine but don't insult it pls.
I'm not insulting or disrespecting any culture, but dressing up a WW2 warship that way is silly imo. Rest assured, if they come up with a Mozart camo, there will be a snarky comment from me on how it looks like a cross between a Muppet and a British politician.
Also, nobody seems to have noticed my stab at the US for using Missouri to bombard Iraq, and how alt-history China has no need for that, and hence scrapped their Alsace... can't win them all 😂

Seeing crossovers in games, especially mobile, always feels like pandering to me - "hey, let's get some camos going to attract people who are into X as new customers". Still, I'm happy for anyone who enjoys this, I'm more here to point out that unfortunately, under the hood, the ship is a carbon copy of a free one, but with a forced crossover camo, so be aware before opening your wallet

As long as they do not add something which is even more stupid than aircraft carriers into the game like ummm... submarines; to some extent the current game state is still tolerable. 😁 I sold my Alsace when I got my Bourgogne. I have no need for this 'PLA battleship'.

I often wonder if China had not relied on the euros and America for defense of it's oceans from Japan would their casualties have been much less and would Japan have not gone to wear with the usa at all if China had commissioned a real navy before war with Japan. Perhaps if China had focused on it's defense instead of a civil war perhaps it would be the super power it always wanted to be.
In PC 90% of the Pan American cruiser is like the history of this ship. To sum it up it’s pretty much what COULD have happened IF the American/British had given these Pan American nations cruisers. There was always the POSSIBILITY of this and it WOULD’VE happened IF the Americans/British gave these cruisers out. Yeah if your wondering tier 8-10 of the Pan American cruiser line is scrapped Worcester designs that have somehow managed to been given to South American nations. As someone who is South American I find it a disgrace how WG messed that lines history up, when there are countless of ships in history that went to South American nations. Oh and this same fantasy history from WG is also spread with next EU dd line in PC. Here’s a hint, a Mogador was somehow brought to tier 10 and given to the polish 😂
Everyone knows the USN, IJN, RN and KM. The French and Italians are already a bit specialised, but that's usually where it ends. I've actually started looking more into early 1900s, and when I was researching Atlântico, coming across the South American Naval Arms Race was absolutely fascinating. Who would have known that Brazil was only the third country to build (well, buy) Dreadnoughts, and it caused a bit of a stir internationally, as shifts in balance of power do. Western perception of the world and its history is hugely skewed - after studying it (hobby, not full time) for years, that's where I ended up as a conclusion. It starts at what they teach at school, which is what probably 90% of the population ends up learning for the rest of their life. A friend of mine who grew up in the Soviet Union used to joke that the difference between the Warsaw Pact and NATO was that in the Pact, they knew that they were fed propaganda. Sorry, I normally try to keep politics out of this, but I think to a degree it's also what we see in game - if you're already making stuff up, why not give China their own battleship project, maybe based on a projekt 24 draft from the Soviets? That would have made heaps more sense, and I'd actually find that interesting and engaging. They do that for ships of the "big" navies, but "minors" have to contend themselves with scraps / "hand-downs", that then on top of it are made up. Sorry for the rant :)
