programming is like fighting a hydra, you cut of one head, two more sprouts out, then after hours and hours and hours you realize that the reason it didn't work in the first place was some dumb typo or something hidden deep within the code.

Yes, Microsoft has been changing priorities to focus on Bedrock Edition because they make more money from there, mainly from the in game currency. So Bedrock is going to become the big one, still can't mod very well though. Since the ability to mod Bedrock Edition is within Microsoft's hands, they make it cost money and you can't make your own mods or download other people's mods. Basically they are going to make us choose between getting to play Minecraft with new updates and stuff but pay to play (The game already costs money but it'll probably have other things that you have to pay for) or getting to play with an old version but mods

What about a mod where bookshelves start off empty, but when you make a book, you can put it in the bookshelf and see it. Also, if there's no title, it's just a book, but if you title it, the book will have some text in the secret jumbled up Minecraft language on it (You know, the one you see when enchanting stuff).
I like this idea, and I will suggest the feature based on this.
When using with enchanting table, to activate one bookshelf, you must have one enchanting book (any), and any books to fill to whole bookshelf. The bookshelf can contain up to four books. How about that?

Actually, the Fyrite Pickaxe from "SimpleOres 2" does just that without enchantments, it melts the ores (and cobblestone), and it even works with Fortune enchantment as well.

The hammer is basically exactly like in Terraria. In Terraria, you get a hammer and can hammer blocks to become a slope, half block, etc.

Omg, PLEAAAASE remake Carpenters Blocks... it's one of my absolute favourite mods and I'm still not over the fact that development for it has been horribly slow and incomplete since basically 1.7.10. I especially loved the feature of being able to put a glowstone dust in any carpenters block to make it a light source. I know we have Chisels & Bits and other mods that have come along, but they don't quite do it for me.
And it's been remade!

Mod Idea: Blunt arrows, They are made with a stick, a feather and a wooden button. They can be tipped and apply lots of knockback

Make an enchantment called “hot rod” all with Hotrod 1, 2, and 3
It is for the pickaxes
hotrod 1 will have a 30% chance to instantly melt an iron or gold ore
hotrod 2 will have a 70% chance to instantly melt an iron or gold ore
hotrod 3 will guarantee you an ingot
Only add in a modifier that it can't stack with silk touch or luck. Maybe make it so that if it's on an axe it just turns it into 2-4 charcoal pieces and sand into glass on a shovel.
But wouldnt it be too OP because you could just get iron or gold

Tygo Bergerhof How would it be OP? All it does is melt the ore, not create one from like a block of stone. It’s simply just taking the step of smelting the ore in a furnace out of the equation.

That's so freaking OP. You can enchant golden items, transfer the enchantments to books and put the enchantments on diamond stuff. In order to not make it game breaking it should be balanced by adding curse of vanishing and curse of binding to the enchantment table so that you're forced to transfer disadvantageous enchantments. I would also make it so that you lose XP by transferring enchantments to books (1 per enchantment per level of enchantment). But I would understand it if the balance wasn't there because... well... it's a mod, you're not forced to use it. You might just get rekt once you go to the server that doesn't have it installed and you're used to easy transfer.

Idea: make liquid honey by putting a honey block on a bucket. The liquid should be stickier than lava.
Slopes should have a "corner" varient, just like the stairs. (When you place two stairs adjacent to one stair, it creates an inner/outer corner)
Al Dankasaur This used to be a mod. It was called the Carpenter’s Mod, but it hasn’t been updated in a long time. It had all sorts of stuff. Ladders, buttons, picket fences, flower pots, bookshelves, vertical slabs, collapsible blocks... it was an amazing mod. It’s a shame it hasn’t been worked on in a long time.
How about a mod that adds asphalt.
The asphalt would be found in "lakes" like lava and water lakes on the surface and would deal damage if entered, though not nearly as much as lava, say a heart every 5 seconds or something. It would also slow movement to a crawl, like lava, and you would be unable to swim up in it.
This would work as more then just a lava rip off however as it would have a use in creating a rather cool block, rudimentary road, crafted from a bucket of asphalt, 3 sand and 5 gravel to give 8 road blocks, or however you want to balance that.This block would increase maximum movement speed when stepped on.
As a bonus, if you are so inclined, it can also be combined with wood to create waterproofed wood used in the construction of boats that are capable of greater speeds then their vanilla counterparts.

Incredible job making these mods! It woulda been cool if the Cultivator mod came in stages; e.g. Cultivator I was a 3x3 area, Cultivator II was a 5x5 area, and Cultivator III was a 7x7 area.
Potent bomemeal: bonemeal combined with gunpowder, clay, diamonds, and charcoal: can be used to grow mega trees from a 3x3 of saplings, grow an area of crops by x^2 growth stages, and grow only flowers in an area

U can make new enchantments for the beacons.
1 - Fertilizing: make around crops grow faster
2 - Alchemy: make ores around "evolve" by time spend. They lose your effect while farther.
Iron -> Gold -> Nether Quartz
Coal -> Lapis lazuli
Nether Quartz -> Emerald -> Diamonds
Just most nearby block can turn into diamonds.
3 - Zookeeper: the breed will generate 2 animals; water effect: +50% fish spawning

You should add levels to the Cultivator. So that it is possible to do 5x5, 7x7, 9x9, etc.

How about improving your "pet your dog" mod with a "play with your cat" add-on? Like a carrot-on-a-stick item (iron/gold-nuggets-on-a-stick?) used to entertain your cat
I already updated the mod to include all tameable animals
I have the idea of making it that you can connect the different minecart varients (including the minecart itself) with a lead to create 'trains' of some sort. This would also give the furnace minecart a reasonable use.

Animal genders: Vanilla mobs will have a male counterpart with the same breed, but bigger. Male exclusive behaviors too. All have dongs. They’re all the same model and texture but different and bigger. And they’re all neutral
Bulls: 20 HP, No udders, bigger horns, attacks if provoked. 4.5 Hearts of damage
Rams: 16 HP, Horns and darker face 3 hearts of damage.
Boars: Tusks
Stallions (All equine mobs): Taller and buffer. Buck and back kick.

MOD IDEA:
Fireaspect enchantment extention
-can be put on boots
-when running (not when walking) fire is created on the ground. The fire does not spread or consume blocks. It can hurt mobs and be used to light up caves. After 10 seconds it estinguishes.
-the boots can light tnt
-if the players stands still for too long he will start burning
-the fire can melt ice after a couple of seconds.
-slight speed boost while running this varies with the enchantment level.
=> this would be super fun for minigames such as parkour.

you mean when you kill a monster you get xp and gonna lvl up and then you can upgrade your stats like health damage or armor
