I know this is weird, but when I am stressed, I talk to myself out loud. I in a sense, split myself into to personalities. The first is my inner self. The childish me that is lost and full of emotions and the second one is the mature, logical me. Then I make my childish self ask my mature self for advice. For some reason, after doing that, I always feel like I just talked to my mom or my grandmother. I think it's because I allow myself to organize all of my random stressful thoughts into two imaginary people.
Oh my god, perfect timing! I was feeling a little tired then I saw you video. I lit my salt crystal candle, inhaled a blend of metabolizing essential oils, did deep breaths, and made myself chamomile tea. I'm feeling better already, thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Another anti-stress tip is watching other people deal with stress. By doing so, not only can you get some useful advice, you also realize you are not the only one to actually have stress (or any other kind of trouble), which helps to get through it.
it's so cool how your videos are helpfull and somewhat serious, but at the same time you can be a bit funny sometimes, kinda takes the edge off. this helped, thanks!
I bought my first journal . I’ve started writing my thoughts. I hope to become a better person and be happy so that I can make my family happy when I am around them. Thank you for inspiring. ♥️
Wow! You can draw! that picture is impressive. Thanks for the video and the tips. I love the smell of bees wax candles. What is he best way to take ashwaganda and rhodiola? I have them in tinctures but obviously there's a slight amount of alcohol as a preservative in them. Do you have any advice on this?
Tara Hays After your advice I decided to look up Rhodiola as I just queried that with you as well. Apparently Rhodiola can aid the thyroid, correct irregular menstral cycles as well as be an aid in preparing for healthy pregnancy so I'll add that along with a few other things I know about. Have a good day. 😊
Hey there, I just found your channel and I really like the topics of your videos! I started a channel in August of this year, about my musical progress as an adult beginner violinist. I'm thinking of making videos about other topics as well, and because I'm a fan of simplifying/goalsetting/bullet journaling/minimalism, I searched and stumbled upon your channel. I like it and I subbed. 😊
Love love your channel and this video! Sharing widely with all my counseling clients! Such a concise summary of healthy coping habits that we all can benefit from.
I am going to buy some clay and start sculpting! I really like doing it and i forgot how relaxing it is. It was something that didn’t really have a point because the finished products don’t look very good lol. But I do love it and it is so relaxing and fun! Great advice :)
Meghan Livingstone my favorite is buying a huge chunk of clay from a pottery store and just making anything! The best part is you can keep using that clay over and over again if you keep it sealed properly!
I really want to get one of those salt lamps now! I LOVE working out (yes to weight lifting, running or yoga), getting out in nature and Améo's clinical grade essential oil blend called calming breeze. Immediately helps calm me and relieve my desire to bite my nails.
I just found your channel and I LOVE it! I subscribed and I have been watching video after video. I really appreciate all the work you have put into your channel. You have a very restful presence, and you exude peace and calm.
just a heads up, anyone with a lower blood pressure should be careful with it! I never heard about it being problematic, but one suggested dose honestly made me almost pass out for whole day - and only when researching specifically about this I found that it can be problematic!
Hi ,Meghan. New here in your channel. Thank you very much for your advise, really helps. I just lost my husband Sep 25 of 2017 and all of this will.help me alot. Your drawing is beautiful I do not draw but will find something to keep me more relaxed. One day at a time. God bless.
Hi Laura! Thank you for your comment! I'm so sorry to hear. I hope you'll enjoy exploring some of the tips I mentioned (especially art or something else you find relaxing!) Big hugs! xx
I love to relax but I'm not aloud candles anymore as my dad gets worried that I'll set something on fire and I be tried fairy lights instead but they don't make me as relaxed. Do you have any alternatives or advice?
I think there are quite a few herbs/teas that aren't safe during pregnancy/breastfeeding. People should always triple check whether or not things are safe first.
You can do the lamp/candles, magnesium, and essential oils. Depending on the ages of your kids maybe you can all go for a walk, do yoga together which can incorporate breathing, play sports, or dance around the house. After they go to bed, you can take 5min in bed to journal. Hope these help!
@@priscillajimenez27 yeah we do all these things. I definitely need to take a bath and relax more. My kids dance, do yoga, go on walks, bike ride, play tennis. list goes on. LOL Im just griping. Great ideas, keep them coming.
To watch your videos is one of my anti-stress essentials :)

I thought it was just me! It's one of the most helpful things I do when I'm stressed tbh.
K-power i do the same ❤
I totally do that. I basically act out what is stressing me out. Until I find that it’s been dealt with lol
I think many of us do that.
Oh my god, perfect timing! I was feeling a little tired then I saw you video. I lit my salt crystal candle, inhaled a blend of metabolizing essential oils, did deep breaths, and made myself chamomile tea. I'm feeling better already, thanks for sharing!
Aw that is wonderful! I'm just about to light a candle and drink some tea, too!

Absolutely, I agree! It really helps to be able to relate to others and know we're not always alone in what we're struggling with :)

Angela Dyson Ashwagada can cause possible miscarriages, or issues for pregnant women, so careful if trying for a baby:)
Tara Hays Thank you so much; good advice and perfect timing for the advice. What about Rhodiola; can this also carry the same risk? 😐
Tara Hays After your advice I decided to look up Rhodiola as I just queried that with you as well. Lol, stress! Get rid of it. I love that. Thanks for the great tips.
The background music was very calming! lol. Where do you get the music for your videos? Your picture was amazing!!!
This particular song is just one from iMovie, but I often download the music that UA-cam provides, too :)
I tried ashwaganda recently and it is amazing! It reall has a positive effect within 30 mins, but there are no negative effects to worry about.
just a heads up, anyone with a lower blood pressure should be careful with it! I never heard about it being problematic, but one suggested dose honestly made me almost pass out for whole day - and only when researching specifically about this I found that it can be problematic!
