Well there's this amazing thing where That's been around for pretty much every other developed Nation since. Oh. I don't know the turn of the century where you don't have a king. That you can have us head of the state that's elected. That is a term limit. Look. I know it's super controversial and super new. You know it's only been around for 100 years or so but it's been done in quite successfully I might add.

However, it is nice seeing him and Princess Catherine out, following their battles with cancer.
The monarchy can continue - just make them self funded. If they wanted to be our head of state and serve our country, then let them fund themselves. Only security should be paid. Everything else should all be funded out of profits from the Duchy of Lancaster and Duchy of Cornwall etc. No state funding. No Sovereign Grant.
They work their asses off doing tedious boring work. They bring in a lot of revenue and kudos to the country. It’s an expensive job where they have to travel, be away a lot and look good, and sound knowledgeable. It’s a full time job serving their country and the majority of English people like having them and appreciate their efforts. You are a minority. You know what that means? It means your opinion is worth diddly squat.
They are self funded, the sovereign grant is a percentage of the crown estates.
