@liliannendollobangue8497 You obviously have never had cancer. Preventative chemo is prescribed when the odds of your cancer returning at some stage are high.
That's why I've had preventative chemo, and that's why Princess Catherine is having preventative chemo.

Some patients who have been diagnosed with cancer are prescribed preventative chemo when the odds of the cancer returning are high.
That's why I was prescribed preventative chemo, and that's why Princess Catherine has been prescribed preventative chemo.
I can speak on this matter because of the knowledge I've gained by being diagnosed and treated for cancer twice since 2016.
You missed the Princess Royal, Anne, standing next to Lady Louise.
And Anne was riding in the parade. The Princess Royal is always where she is needed.
Anne is my favorite. I love that she wears the uniform of her regiment, and not a summer dress.

Please note - PRINCESS CATHERINE IS THE COLONEL OF THE IRISH GUARDS. SHE WAS THERE TO TAKE THEIR SALUTE! Her role as Colonel was why she made such an effort to be there. She stood up at the window whenever they passed + saluted them at the end. She was there for them, as William was for the Welsh Guards, Edward for the Scottish Guards + Princess Ann for her regiment.

“Diminished” is a grossly misleading and disrespectful term. Melissa Murray displays the typical American lack of proper appreciation for the role and importance of the Royal Family. They may be fewer in number, but that is due to a conscious decision by His Majesty King Charles III to scale down the extravagance in sensitivity to current public sentiment. Their place in the British zeitgeist is as powerful as it is enduring, especially now that the King and the Princess of Wales are facing respective challenges from cancer. Their courage, poise, and mindfulness of duty in this difficult time is an inspiration to the British people. Case in point: the reason Catherine made a particular effort to be present at the Trooping of the Colours is that, as the Colonel of the Irish Guards, it is her role to take their salute during this event. She had already been forced to miss the final rehearsal-called the Colonel’s Review-due to her treatments and so she was determined to be present for the actual ceremony. Catherine stating that "she isn't out of the woods yet" scares me. I can only imagine how she and her family feel.
@Zegers1..I've worried about her treatment being so long. Several years ago I took my sister for chemo and would sat bedside her.
It used to be when you reached 5 years of no signs of the cancer spreading they would declare you cured. Then they found out it can hide out for *decades* and come swooping out of its hiding place and show up. My sister's neighbor had her breast cancer return after over 20 years. That time it resulted in her death. We all know it can be hiding somewhere and suddenly come back. My sister had breast cancer and as she told me after my surgery when I expressed a fear of that, "Welcome to the wonderful world of cancer. From now on way in the back of your mind you will have that question. Sometimes it will be not so far back, but you learn to live with it. Not ever being completely sure is just part of the process."
Cancer can be an unpredictable enemy. The Princess is but a few years younger than when my mother was taken. I don't know what the NHS physicians told my father, but he told us nothing. School released my younger brother and me to go play in Hyde Park; at lunchtime, they lowered the boom.
Don't do that to kids.

I was 24 when my Mother passed away. She had lymphoma all through her body. The biopsy was in Feb. and she died in October. She refused chemo and resumed her life just like it was just a thing. I thought that was very brave of her.

I am not 100% convinced this is really Kate after how strangely they've all been behaving. Until there is 100% proof this is really Kate and she is ok and doing well I will be looking at all those Brittish nobility and Windsors from under my eye. I don't trust them. Catherine looked absolutely stunning I’m impressed by her courage and King Charles courage to be at the celebration. In the last 4 years I’ve lost my grandmother to cancer, my aunt is still recovering from breast cancer, my cousin just recovering from cancer. Also, have another cousin husband die from cancer 2 weeks ago and it’s very difficult when you see loved ones going through an illness like cancer or any other illness. So I’m glade to princes Catherine doing well.

I agree with your comment. It is a tough fight but if I can work 10 hrs shift as a nurse and been on a chemo patient why not to be standing for a few mins to this event??

Actually, his birthday isn't until November but many countries celebrate the monarch's birthday on a set date. Here in Australia it's June 6th.
