This couldn't have come at a better time - or maybe 6 months further on (mid- to late-2023). I want this type of flooring in my new build, so seeing that I can do it myself will help the budget greatly.
Great video! Two products that could help here are the boxes of prefab packets of various sizes, which takes the messing around out of cardboard. With the need to mark through a deep drill hole, check out your hardware counter. They sell tiny aerosol marker paint (like an asthma puffer), with a pointed bullet tip that goes against the hole and sprays a dot of paint through to mark your material for painting. Your job here looks great!
Seriously love your content, thank you! Wish I’d seen this back when I ran a food business and leased an overpriced space which already had this done. Next time I’ll know we can make a food safe floor much easier and cheaper!!
Great advice to wear the respirator. I noticed the filters on your respirator are designed for dry particles such as protecting you from the cement dust. When you are doing the acid part the filters designed for the vapours?
The end product looks good, but gee, what a lot of stuffing about to get there! This one is definitely a "pay Bill to" rather than "do as bill shows me" :)
Hi Bill, nice video I have few questions that hope you can answer - What's your garage size? how many liters of epoxy did you use? how many coats? - Around how much (in kg) flakes was used?
Great video as always!!, Would it be possible to apply the final polyurethane sealer coat over the concrete lip under the garage door to protect it and also stop anything penetrating under the edge?
This was for my house and is not something I usually do for customers. Not my field of expertise but generally I would say you can expect to pay $3000-$4000
I don’t intend to have cars parked in there as I will use it for storage. If I wanted to park cars in there I would grind the floor first for maximum adhesion and there shouldn’t be an issue after that👍
Thanks Bill. Can you provide links to all products or suppliers info- that will be helpful for the DIYs.
Theses products were purchased from right choice

Great video. With the bi-carb soda, did you just pour it on or mix with water?

Thanks Bill. What all products i need to complete Epoxy for Double garage.
Do i need three kits from Right choice ?
Fantastic video as always 👍 Just wondering if you could suggest a solution with less prep work and around $20/sqm? Was thinking vinyl tiles.
I have exposed concrete sealed drive way. Will the witching affect my drive way when it comes time to wash the acid off the garage floor.
“ Right choice, with a name like that they can’t get it wrong “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video as always!!, Would it be possible to apply the final polyurethane sealer coat over the concrete lip under the garage door to protect it and also stop anything penetrating under the edge?
You can use the clear sealer however I intentionally left it plain so I can put a color sealer once the drive way is completed 👍
Hi Bill, can you tell us how the flooring has held up one year later, is it still durable, thanks
Best thing I have done for the garage. Very durable, oils and rust can be simply wiped away. Very happy with it👍👍👍
Such an awesome video. How much did you charge for something like this? And what are the cost of materials
It looks like it was his own garage.
Awesome job. What would you charge to do another double garage?
This was for my house and is not something I usually do for customers. Not my field of expertise but generally I would say you can expect to pay $3000-$4000
Bruv thanks always for the awesome vids. Can you provide a ballpark figure on this please?
Double garage was about $1200 Australian 👍
@@billshowto that's not as bad as I thought. Thanks brother 👊 PS love your vids and great job!
👍👍👍
You can come down and do mine but I am not sure which state you are in?
Hi Bill how much can I expect to pay for a similar double garage like that? Thank you. Amazing video.
Material alone was about $1200-$1400 for a double car garage.
Weekend project: "the concrete has been drying for about 4 days now"......
👍👍
MMA the best
How does this product hold up to hot tires being in the same spot over, and over again?

Not gonna lie... As good as it looks.... that looked tiring...
