Love the history, thanks for sharing!
Love looking at old hotels and all the history they hold. Back when glamor was glamor. Love your walking history tours.
I enjoy all the great locations & history you share. The Citadel was amazing and you never know were you'll find Otis :). Thank you Spa Guy!
Love your history tours Mr. Spa Guy. Always learn so much. Amazing how many Elvis connections you find. You are the super sleuth in finding true history either about Elvis or otherwise. Thank you for all your hard work. Tell Ms Lori hi. Safe travels and adventures. God's speed.
I have been to Charleston
Great historical place Spa Guy❤️
Thank You Spa Guy ,
We Fans can always count on you to bring a piece of American History in our homes
The Citadel Hotel is Absolutely Breath Taking !with Great History!
It may be Haunted even so the( Beauty , History and Extravagance) it takes the fear away of being Haunted.
With that being said the next time my husband and I visit family in North Carolina we will definitely stop to Charleston South Carolina to stay in this Heavenly beautiful Hotel.
My husband and I have stayed at haunted hotels in the past and we had no problems .
You may want to visit
#1 Is Lackawanna Hotel in Scranton Pa. It was a train station built in 1908 and there is even a Morgue in the basement below one of the restaurants.
Ironically we saw Shawn Kluth in his tour of Elvis
#2 Hotel we stayed in of also “being Haunted” Is The Plaza Resort in Daytona Beach, Fl.
No problem there as well
Thank You
Arrivederci!
That’s awesome I didn’t know that hotel used to be the citadel
Right on the coast, Charleston is one of the most beautiful cities in America. Travel & Leisure Magazine has voted it the Top city in the USA for many years.
I was born in Pittsburgh, my father met my Mother in Charleston while he served in the Navy, after there marriage and my birth they moved back to SC, I grew up in the Piedmont and spent much of my youth in the Low-Country, the barrier islands of Charleston, Beaufort, Edisto, the Great Santee
There is so much more you need to see, Charleston has a underground complex of tunnels that are connected to some of the old House's and different municipal and military structures. And you really should take a trip to Monkey Island down Beaufort way, and go and see Charles Gay, the oldest Shrimp company still operating, and learn about the Gulla/Geeche people
Cool Stuff I will next time back!!
Staying there in 3 weeks
Looks like a Nice Place!!
