- Squirmy and Grubs (aka Shane and Hannah) are an inter-abled couple who host a daily vlog on UA-cam, called Squirmy and Grubs, that posts humorous videos and answers questions about their lives together. Shane Burcaw was born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and has used a wheelchair since the age of two. He is an author of three books, public speaker, and co-founder of a non-profit. Hannah Aylward studied liberal arts and is an accomplished swimmer and diver. She is able-bodied, and both she and Shane are disability advocates helping to end stigma about people with disabilities. Alaskan interviewer is Travis Noah. The event will close with a video interview with Travis Noah, an Alaska disability advocate sharing his story.

Wow, Hannah and Shane! Wonderful! Big fan here of them both: their humble, funny, eloquence, their thoughtful, caring advocacy, their generous spirit to their audience. I’m so jealous of you Travis! Lol, but seriously, from my experience working with Travis on disability advocacy issue and boards and councils, I’m very glad he was the interviewer. Nice job!

I just watched a video showing this guy in 2013 trying to get some type of deal going with some other girl that no one in his position would get..

That's funny yesterday someone posted Shane's ex-girlfriend. When I commented on their site about the video that was up of Shane and his ex-girlfriend Shannon Hannah reply to my comment. I was so surprised. She said I must be mistaken that he never did a video with an ex-girlfriend but a few years ago he made a couple of nonprofit videos with his cousin Sarah I told her nope it says my girlfriend hasn't seen me in a wheelchair. Anyway from her denying it I said either Shane is lying to you or both of you are lying to all of us because the video is up and can be seen by everyone.
Where did you find Hannah's previous boyfriends name??
