I love how this turned out, especially as I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to make it when I started. I will definitely look for a ring made of a lighter material if I make another one though. This is totally wearable as it is, but a lighter ring (aluminium or plastic) would be an improvement, plus I could make it even bigger!!!
Very cute, but one side sticks out in back, doesn't look right. In video its YOUR left. Even after you did a turn, your right set nicely with your head shape. Like a flower horn? Lol.
Thanks. Yes - I didn't have it on quite straight. Check out the pics of Charlie wearing it at the event it was made for (towards the end of the video). It's sitting straight on her. I think maybe her hairstyle supported it better at the back than my little ponytail!

What is the hoop ring called? Is it in a specific section?
I don't think it had a special name. I found it with all the macrame supplies in Lincraft. They had a variety of sizes.
