When I saw this table at the thrift store a few weeks ago I knew it would be the perfect piece for this challenge. It looked just ruined and destroyed enough on the surface. But I saw the underlying potential!

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You did a good job. The “mistakes” are just part of the proces. The touching up with the paint is a skill you own. This little side table was very lucky to have met you!

I love the fact that you kept this old piece with a wood finish. I know some pieces finishes are so bad you have to just use paint, but I hate to see old pieces painted modern colors. I love that table. You did a great job!
