I've seen your video "CN Freight Train" that was my first train video on UA-cam. I've seen that video since 2009 when I was 6-7 and now I'm 15 years old. I'll never forget that video. Always.
I'm always amazed at the number of people who watched that video ten years ago and still remember it today. I never thought it would be that popular. Thanks for the comment!
***** Yeah, I realized I didn't have an HD video of this spot. A lot of people seem to like this location for some reason. I was a little surprised when I saw it was almost six years since the last time I filmed here. Time flies.
+Brenton81 Yah, Brenton, this is also one of my favorite locations that you have filmed and another fine job! Very pretty Wisconsin country scene but no crossing recording on this video after the train had passed like the other two videos and why was that?? And is there another crossing close by?? In your video #2 at this crossing, I heard the engine sounding its horn after it had passed over this crossing and was assuming that there was another crossing that it was coming to.
+Doug Celeste The defect detector was upgraded a while back and it now takes a while after the train passes before the exit message plays so I didn't include it in this video. There is another crossing about a 1/4 mile past this one (behind me in this shot). I wasn't standing as close to the tracks this time so that could be part of the reason for not hearing him blow the horn. The engineer may not have started blowing as soon for the next crossing either, like in the other video.
There's now a lag between when the train passes and the detector gives a readout. I didn't include it in this video because there would be just a long segment of video at the end, with nothing happening, before the detector came on.
BRENTON: This is my favorite location for viewing your train videos. The next time I am in Wisconsin, I would love to go to this lovely scenic area in the country and maybe I will get lucky and see a train pass by.
It was due to the large increase in train traffic. There were only 6-8 trains a day when it was the Wisconsin Central. Canadian National runs 20-25 a day.
+Class J Video Productions Train Videos Thanks! I'm not sure of an exact number but it's busy. This is CN's route from Chicago to Canada. My camera is a Canon Vixia HF200 with a DM100 mic.
Dang this rail crossing changed so much over 10 years! I think I was 2 when I saw your first cn freight train vid.
0:19 That's a beautiful horn
I remember watching some of your train videos back in 2008-2009. I also remember this crossing from a different video.
Hard to believe but next year will make it 10 years this channel has been on UA-cam.
Ah wow, K3L horns are like music to my ears, never actually heard one in person!
It's A K3LA

Your Welcome
J L I was also six years old when I watched the first video. Now, I’m just one of those fans who always jump up and down for an update.
Now that is a healthy general signals type 2.
Interesting Consist!
CN 2543 C44-9W
CN 2103 C40-8
Amazing train!
Nice catch w/ the C40-8! You don't see them often nowadays.
Huh, I was wondering if there would be a third installment of the CN freights at this spot. Great shot, Brent!

Doug Celeste
I think Spring Prairie Road,
HWY 20, Hill Valley Road, and Washington Ave.

+train gamer Highway 20 is the next crossing a little ways past this one. It would be behind me, with the direction I'm facing in this video.
Thank you! Best regards!
Great Video.🚂
Thank you very much!
@@Brenton81Hey I love your videos
Awesome video great view thanks for sharing 😎🚂
How long are trains like that?
Very good catch
eddieg749 Thanks!!
Awesome!
Great looking Video C40-8 too boot seems a lot of them on the Sprague Sub up here lately.
We’re there any knuckle train cars
I was disappointed that you didn't bring the scanner with you (it was in your previous two videos shortly after the crossing deactivated)

Dang, this is already 2 years old.
Yeah, time flies. I remember doing a lot of these and I'm surprised when I look at how many years ago it was.
Is this the same crossing from the first CN Freight Train video?
Yes.
gunna do number 4?
I'll probably do it eventually.

Brenton do you know why they put up the gates? Just wondering. Not sure if there was a big reason.

My brother likes this
Why that horn sounds like the horn on Trainz New Era for CP loco
can you do more train vids on hill valley road
I was out there a couple weeks ago but no trains, so I left.
Is that the same crossing for CN frieght train 1 and 2
Yannitron 9000 Yup.
+Brenton81 Can you please watch my latest video. With a really loud CSX horn please?
Sure, I'll watch it.
+Brenton81 Thanks! :)
what general signal bell is that
It's a Type 2.
Great shot! Couple of questions: How many trains run by here? And what kind of camera do you use? It has really nice quality!
+Class J Video Productions Train Videos Thanks! I'm not sure of an exact number but it's busy. This is CN's route from Chicago to Canada. My camera is a Canon Vixia HF200 with a DM100 mic.
Brenton81 Ah OK. If it's from Chicago to Canada I'd say it's at least 40 a day.
+Class J Video Productions Train Videos Just found something online... it's an average of 26 trains a day.
Brenton81 Oh OK that's not bad. That's roughly one train an hour.
Classic. 😉
Same crossing
Same bells
Same train
Nothing much has changed here lol
CN FREIGHT TRAIN 4
Yeah, I probably will eventually.
I'm looking forward to that
