- Join me on my first ever solo trip to Las Vegas. I depart from Dubai Airport on Emirates Airlines in Business Class aboard the A380 aircraft. Staying one night in LA before driving down to Vegas. I stop at the famous Peggy Sues Diner for breakfast before checking in to the Fontainebleau hotel. Then enjoy a night of gambling in Fontainebleau and resorts world.

Great first vlog back, really interested to see how you like solo trip as the week progresses. Your travel to Vegas makes ours look easy 😂😂 some great hits at Fontainebleau, we will definitely be trying those sandwiches during our stay there ❤
Haha yes the travel length is a chore but always worth it once you arrive. The sandwiches and the pizzas at FB are awesome, definitely hit up Miami Slice if you get chance.

Another good vlog Russell. We have been going in Peggy Sue’s on our drives from LA to Vegas and return, for about 20 years. I managed to get out there a few times, without the wife, for boxing and to see the Eagles. Keep up the good work! 👍🇺🇸

Solo Trip start was fantastic! That's the perfect room for one person however, Alex and I are good with that too because we really only sleep and shower in the room so size is enlivenment to us. Genghis Khan is one of our favs and happy that thing was your personal atm! Nothing better than being up some good cash day 1 of a trip as your morale is already high being in Vegas but it's just elevated so much more with he extra cash. Also the relaxing in the robe was hilarious, only thing you were missing was a cigar and a nice drink! Overall awesome day for you 👊
Yes you can’t beat the FB rooms and the bathrooms are awesome, especially if a bath lover like me. Genghis was very kind to me, it really does set the trip off when you have a good first day. Love them robes, could sit there all day wearing them 😂
@@roamingnewroutes lol not sure if you're a wrestling fan but the robes just remind me of Ric Flair and I'd just be strutting around the room "woo'ing" all day and especially after that Genghis Khan win.

Solo trips are fun too! Grandpopala was cracking me up too 🤣 I was definitely him on my last trip. Vegas ate me alive, but the trip before that I had a hand pay for $2400. so you just never know with Vegas, but at least you know you will have great time regardless if the wins or losses.
Man he was hilarious he had me in stitches. It was a good first day on the winnings side, a good first day really can set you up for the week. As they say a bad day in Vegas is still better than a good one at the office!

Hey guys, thanks for watching. 16 hours is long but can’t complain too much given the seats and bar. Peggy sues definitely worth a stop if passing by. Agree on the buttons don’t know why Vegas doesn’t follow suit with the drinks buttons

Great vlog Russell, grumpy man was brilliant, good gambling. You would think they would have a better drink service in FB to draw people in. I was gambling about 2.5 hours in there back in March and didn’t get one drink. Looking forward to the next one. 🎰🎰👍🏻
Cheers. Yes even the drinks we did get weren’t great, the lemon drop martinis are awful there, they need to take a leaf out of Resorts World and Cosmo books, the quality of drinks is a big attraction.
Big fan of Emily and yourself and your vlogs, love watching them. Hearing you say “we” all the time when you say “we’re going to do…, etc” is so cute and funny because it’s clear how used to having Emily with you, you are when vlogging. Great vlog as usual and I agree with another poster about keeping the vlogs long, I certainly look forward to them. 😊

Also it is an absolute dream of mine to fly first class on Emirates! I’ve been lucky enough to fly on an A380 to London from Dubai once - on the way there it was a 777 which I don’t particularly like 😂 I always find any of those 777 models too turbulent - or maybe it’s just bad luck!
Anyway! Before the A380 is gone for good I will achieve this 😂

The A380 is the best aircraft there is in my opinion. So smooth on take off and in the air as well. You only feel its size on landing, they do tend to come down with a bang.
The Emirates A380 is awesome, we love the business bar, it changes the whole flight. First is insane, if you ever the chance then take it, i don’t think you’ll see planes in the future with bars and showers etc.
I love it that much i bought a piece of Emirates first ever A380 when it was scrapped 😂
@@roamingnewroutes I couldn’t agree more! It’s just a beautiful aircraft and I’m lucky to have been on one before now, but yep! As soon as I win big in Vegas that’s what I’ll spend my money on 😂 I’ll drink the plane dry tho 😂
Or maybe I’ll get an air miles program or something and save 😂🙄! I watch a lot of aviation vids like Mentour Pilot and Non Stop Dan, and Pete (my husband) and I are always watch Airliners Live from Manchester while we work 😂😂

Enjoy your trip in August. We’re there first week of August and even coming from Dubai we’re not looking forward to the heat. I’d say a solo trip is worth doing at least once, it’s not for everyone but worth trying.

These ones are a little shorter but just because of being solo and what I did during the days but still pretty long. Our normal ones will be back to 60mins + 😊
Everyone loves a sassy TSA agent 😅 She just be jealous you get so much annual leave. Great to get out of the MGM bubble to see new machines not part of their portfolio - that Mouse and Outgrow link looked interesting (minus the angry cap man with his random af arm movements 😂). Were the 6 cocktails at the Centre bar comped? 🤔
Haha she definitely got up on the wrong side of the bed. Was nice to get away from MGM. Will be doing it a lot more me thinks, MGM offers keep dropping but going up elsewhere. Got to love all the characters in Vegas, it’s part of what makes Vegas, Vegas! Yes all 6 were comped no issues. Will be spending a lot more time there this upcoming trip!

Enjoying the vlogs how does the 9 days off ,work is that for everyone. Does the government pick the whole tab up ?
Government announce the days based on the moon and then The companies have to give to time off or lieu days. This worked out the 5 days off were Mon - Friday so we got a full 9 days off including weekends

Yes they do, there is a minimum amount you need to bet. I’m not sure exactly what it is, I think it’s $1 per bet but if you ask them they will tell you.
Islands? No one here local ever goes to islands it is a below average restaurant sorry someone recommended it to you.
Yer I just stumbled across it, it had good reviews online but was very disappointing. Certainly wouldn’t go back
