There's a podcast with Wondery called "British Scandal", and some of the earliest episodes dealt with this (the episodes you want to focus on are called "The Murdoch Phone Hacking").
@@LeoGirl80 Omg yes, I completely agree with Polly's suggestion. That's a fantastic podcast just generally, and that series about the phone hacking will give you an in-depth understanding of it all.
There is literally a mountain of content out there discussing it, it was massive international news.
as an australian i have no idea who these people are but this video actually slayed and so much drama damn
This hair is giving me life so 90s and the makeup too is gorgeous as well and thanks topic is the best ever. I am throughly entertained and also the star signs all make sense together I know some people say star sighs are rubbish but it really highlights their personality so much x
I’m not from the UK so I’ve never heard of this story but now I’m so invested 😂 I also love how you told us their star signs when introducing them lol great video!! 🫶🏽 x
Jordan just so you know I had no idea about any of this since I'm not from the UK but I've already watched this video 3 times. I was riveted, captivated, held my breath through the video and had to keep rewatching to make sure I absorbed all the story. Also your hair looks amazing! I also love Boots' cameo
I keep rewatching this video because your energy is so contagious. The girly urge to enthusiastically share your knowledge on this one specific topic is wonderful
These are honestly so fun to watch as someone in the states who knows nothing about these topics. Like I’m fully being educated from nothing and it’s amazing 😂
it’s giving the female british baddie version of mike’s mic & i mean that as the highest compliment 💓💓
Rewatching this literally after having just watched this an hour ago. Please keep this up, would love to see more videos in this style about U.K. gossip!
Loved learning about WAG drama as someone unaware of UK sports drama, lol! And you were serving in front of both cameras as usual, Jordan
LOVE the energy in this video you sounded like you had so much fun making it and we had so much fun watching
also didn't know British people used kisses at the end of their sentences, might steal it x
I'm honestly surprised there isn't a whatsapp message from Rebecca saying how much publicity she could get from a lawsuit *kiss*
I kinda grew up with WAG insanity and boy was it an era...and as a Steven Gerrard fan, i also followed his wife. WHAT A CRAZY ERA...also, im American, so yeah...nobody else knew the drama...BUT GIRL, you outdid yourself with this one!!!
I absolutely love how you just get right into it in this video, no preamble, no super long intro, just right into the facts
I literally watched this video for the first time today. Learned about Coleen Rooney's existence today. Then I opened up a book I am halfway through and began reading- and there is A QUOTE by Coleen Rooney. I'm in literal shock. This book is so far unrelated from anything to do with her.
I feel like I’ve missed so many videos, and I think it’s because UA-cam hasn’t been delivering them to my sub box BUT I’ve missed you! Your voice is super soothing to me and I adore your enthusiasm.
I love this but especially how you not only once bit twice said that each and their respective husbands have three children together and then showed pictures with four children in each picture
Apparently one is from a previous relationship but it’s still funny to me 😂
you're literally comedic genious, this was amazing, thank you
It’s not often these commentary videos are about a subject I have ZERO knowledge of beforehand… but wow. You really did it. And I was OBSESSED LMAO
idk why it took me 23 minutes to notice your shirt but yeah... i need it!
girl I don't know how you do it, but every time you do a topic I usually don't care about (reality tv shows or this sorta thign) I am suddenly SO invested. great vid sis x
(yes like the chats)
I have no idea who any of these people are but looking at other people's messages when they're going through drama is so scrumptious. Drama in circles I will never mingle is endlessly entertaining lol
The fact that there is a proper documentary on this now.
Feel better Boots 💘 also this whole video, amazing 🙌🏻
I'm so glad you did this video! I started getting into Premier League football right around the time the civil trial started and I had no idea what anyone on Twitter was talking about.
This was HERstory honestly and a British cultural reset. Colleen got her Gooooood
The words 'It was Rebekah Vardy' still get me good 🤣 The way this scandal truly GRIPPED the nation!
I’m a huge fan of messy gossip and just biographies in general, so this was my perfect video! I like your style and hope you do more of these if you enjoy making them!
As an American who doesn't even know who these people are I still found this video so fascinating! Also loved the addition of the board! 😂
I am not from the UK, but am I going to stay and watch the whole thing like a podcast? Absolutely!
Also, Jordan you are a quite good narrator. I already knew this from your essays, but this something I have no idea about, and you keep me interested. Tha's amazing, spectacular, never the same...
but honestly, I love the new and diverse formats! Here to see what you bring out next.
didn't realize you were anti johnny depp, you just went from my top 3 fav video essayist/commentary girlies to number 1
This honestly feels like a work of art - I hope one day there is a course on 2020s dramas one day so this can be assigned as required viewing
I’m from the Wirral (across the Mersey from Liverpool) and I appreciate you calling out the sun on Hillsborough so much
this video is so good i’m obsessed
the huns adore this video also you are serving in both angles
I can't believe how entertaining this video is
THIS VIDEO IS THE BEST JORDAN YET! THE T-SHIRT, THE WHATSAPP ON SCREEN, THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, THE COMEDIC COMMENTARY, Y2K FLASHBACKS UGH PERFECT
This is my first video of yours after falling off video essays for a few years and I didn’t realize but I missed hearing you talk about shit 💕
I could listen to you discuss events in british pop culture all day long like I didn’t know this whole thing existed until this video and now I’m invested
I’m SO impressed by your channel and have been binging all your videos. Please dont stop they are so deep and you cover every aspect. Having a bad time with my channel right now, you motivate me!
