I would love an interview with Lisa and Sharon to hear how those two amazingly powerful singers of all kinds of music felt being on stage with a creative maniac like Trent and the Nine Inch Nails crew.
Woodstock 1994 is the epitome of their live tv performances. They've performed live at the MTV movie awards in 1999, Top of the Pops in 2005, here and Jimmy Kimmel in 2013. Dance Party USA in 1989 one could argue doesn't count cause they're pantomiming to the studio track
While this is a great example of aging with grace and solid excellence, with some of the strongest writing in the catalog, the Self-Destruct era still remains the pinnacle for us. Nothing can top the purity of visceral insanity that was that time.
@@TitanicFog nah man, this upload volume's is screwed. And going bonkers with our system volume is really bothersome cause if you forget to change it afterwards it will blast you in the next video you play. I had to go up 300% from my original volumen to properly hear this one. That's not normal.
Pino killin' as always
I was totally at this show.
Won tickets through the fan club. It was SICC
Wish I could've been there

Agreed! The Tension tour was such a unique experience.
This was the weirdest thing I saw on PBS.
Evidently this is the only live tv performance NiN have ever done. Its so good too!
I think they did another performance on live TV way back in 1989.

A lot to take in!
Very interesting!
This version is MADE by Pino. Doesn't have the same vibe without him.
Best NIN line up of all time. The Tension Tour was the pinnacle of the bands' makeup and creativity.

YUUUUUUCK. (sorry trent, I know you gotta do everything.this was still awesome.)
what
Not bad songs but you didn't hit the Trent button!
Grrrrrrr.... it took 10 years to share this, and I'm not even sure that I like it.
@@sneakywan Not my recording, and I wasn't that big of a Nine Inch Nails fan until 2019.
Nin used to be inspiring. This is meandering and academic experimentation. Thats fine, just kind of embarrassing. And robin still cant play.
cry some more ig
Robin is absolutely perfect for NIN
I don't think we watched the same video.
Well, Liz, let's take a look at your credentials, resume, accomplishments, etc. Oh, don't forget the video where you can play guitar.
