Frogmore Cottage is a 5,089 sq ft, home. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, it also includes two orangeries, a vegetable garden and a yoga studio. Their suffering must have been unbearable.

And they were given 3 million dollars to remodel it that they wouldn't have had to repay back if they had stayed.
They weren't staying there though. They were at Nottingham Cottage which is 1,324 sf and it was built in the 1600's. So more than likely it's roofing, HVAC, foundation, electrical and plumbing systems are outdated/retrofitted to make it functional.

Her father recieved the letter and said nothing about it for months. It was only when Meghan's anonymous friends spoke about it in people magazine did her father feel compelled to 'leak' it because his character was being attacked unfairly .

I remember when she said she sent a copy of the letter to her press secretary, her manager in California and her friends, I was thinking, Who makes copies of a private letter they’re writing to their father? Furthermore, who gives said copies to their press secretary and manager?

I never thought you’d cover this but I’m so glad you did! People need to know about this awful, ungrateful, narcissistic couple. All they do is complain about their privacy yet capitalize on airing out their own family’s personal lives. Best episode yet, SLOAN… I hope you’ll also be addressing the allegations of atrocities at the hands of Harry’s charity org workers in Africa. Reportedly he was advised of r*pe and ab*se nearly a year ago, but hasn’t spoken out, nor supervised an investigation, much less advocated for the victims; meanwhile those responsible remain in power, potentially continuing the violence toward other vulnerable African populations😮😢! To me, hiding these facts is equivalent to a cover up

Based on the way they’ve handled themselves, they are not trustworthy. Therefore, I don’t believe Catherine made Meghan cry, I don’t believe the alleged questions about what the baby would look like were racially charged, I do believe getting Harry isolated and relocated to the US was a goal of Meghan’s if they didn’t get what she wanted, and I don’t believe she was actually suicidal.

It really bothered me when Meghan said Catherine was clearly in the wrong because Catherine brought Meghan flowers to apologize. Catherine was probably just doing the right thing and trying to smooth things over. Even if Catherine thought Meghan was in the wrong, they are family so Catherine probably wanted to send a peace offering and move past it. It was not a good look for Meghan to then use that nice gesture against Catherine. Catherine was being the bigger person but Meghan can’t even imagine doing that so she took it to mean Catherine was totally in the wrong.

Im not a royals fan and don’t have a positive or negative opinion on these two. But I am annoyed with them being constantly shoved in my face when they claimed they want privacy despite me not paying attention to them. I think the general public would respect them more if they stuck to their word and left the family and raised their kids in a private quiet setting

I really wanted to like Megan and always likes Harry. I want to believe their story. I'm sure there is truth to some if it. I know there was quite a bit of racism hurled at Megan. And that's never ok. But it's starting to seem more and more like she marched into the royal family like she was the boss, and this is what's happening. Instead of coming in humbly and trying to acclimate to some of their cultures respectfully and then showing them her own culture and intermingling the two. It could have been a very beautiful time for the royal family and brought about some small changes and modernization. They could have done a lot for the common wealth countries that felt more accepted with a woman of color now being in the family....but it turned into an ugly PR nightmare. And Megan seems to be the ring leader.
There were things in the Netflix doc that I definitely felt my heart go out to both of them. But other things, like Megan making fun of courtsying to the queen, that I found disrespectful. And even Harry seemed a little pissed at that moment.
Sloan thank you for this. I am a black British woman and I am appalled by what they are doing. But I am surprised you didn’t know that she was signed with WME and they let her go when the CEO found out she was the ghost writer for that deplorable book ‘Endgame’ where she claimed it was King Charles and Princess Catherine who made the racist remark. There are many inconsistencies in their Netflix documentary. And their actions have shown that they are just two liars with Meghan trying to get in the Hollywood crowd which no one wants them. the Hollywood Reporter called them the biggest losers of 2023!

The saddest part of the whole Harry and Meghan saga is that they knew the Queen was actively dying of bone cancer during their numerous attacks on the royal family.
Netflix even tried to destroy the Commonwealth - and the meaning of it - in their special. The Queen's Commonwealth was her pride and joy - and her legacy. Meghan made a big deal about having flowers from each Commonwealth embroidered in her veil, so she acted supportive of it in the beginning.
It's just very sad that the late Queen had to deal with all of this in her final years - and while grieving her beloved husband.
I would never even dream of treating my grandmother that way... especially if I knew all she was going through. I imagine she must have felt pretty betrayed by a grandson she adored.

A lot of people don't understand much about the Royal family so I totally get it, especially as an American, but just a few points is Prince William and his family lived in the 'tiny cottage' they complained about before they did, oh and they don't want the UK public to pay for their security, they want YOU guys to! They are fighting for their IPP status (International Protected Persons) which means the government of whichever country they are in pay for it but it's obviously usually for 'official' reasons so I don't think they even know how it would work..lol.
Also just to stand up for the 'staff' she blames for ignoring her mental health problems, they run the palaces they literally couldn't do anything for her! Her husband goes on and on about HIS therapist so why didn't he just call them? Yeah, exactly!

He also forgot that his brother William and his wife Catherine lived there too and never complained about it. William and Catherine moved to an apartment in Kesington Palace only after their first son George was born because the house wasn't family friendly. And that was the idea for Harry and Meghan when Archie was born too, move them to another place.

As an aussie, there is a difference when you go to those older homes in the UK (which are the majority of homes there) compared to here and the US. They do feel smaller in a lot of ways and just laid out differently. But my goodness, a free home is a luxury that very few will be afforded (especially nowadays). And didn't Catherine and William live there before Harry and Meghan? If its good enough for the future King...
Nottingham cottage was where William and Catherine lived until after their first child was born. They seemed to manage just fine there.
William and Catherine shared a flat at university, a farmhouse in North Wales, Nott Cott and Adelaide Cottage (4 bedrooms). William also often stayed with the Middleton family when they all lived in a smaller townhouse. Harry really only has experience of palaces, castles and big estates owned by the families of his polo playing friends and he thought that everything he wanted would always be paid for by others.
The episode southpark did on them was the best thing to ever grace our screens. If you didn’t watch it I highly recommend it 😂

I think one of the main reasons why the palace hasn't made the bullying allegations public might be because Harry could've taken more part in the bullying with Meghan. And it seems to me like King Charles is trying to protect Harry as much as possible to make it up to him for not being present during Harry's childhood. There has been a few sources saying that the palace has covered up a lot of the bullshit Harry did over the years that hasn't been made public and that he's an even worse person than we realize. Meghan is trying to shatter the fairytale image of Will and Catherine while trying to make it seem as if she and Harry are a hard-done-by "fairytale" couple. Oh, please....the woman was like 36 when they got married, and she had been married TWICE before. First one annulled, second one was a divorce......She is a horrible. spiteful person, and has been caught in MANY lies. There were 17 PROVABLE lies in the Oprah "interview" alone!

What is unfortunate is that both Harry and Megan had the opportunity to utilize their influence and podcast for that matter, to impact the mental health crisis which I thought was something they were both equally passionate about. With that being said, they could have brought in all those high profile celebs as well as professionals to discuss that topic which opens up a variety of subjects that associate with mental health… but nope, obviously they really don’t care as much as they made it seem.

They were in a position to do amazing things for charities they cared about but when they have donated money it has always been with an ulterior motive - to get an award or the chance to speak to an audience or to promote clothes, etc. They even charge an attendance fee and expenses to the Invictus Games, though William donated a large media payout in full many years ago.

That was a different cottage. Frogmore cottage in Windsor was the one that was taken back. Nottingham cottage was in Kensington Palace, prime real estate in the centre of London, somewhat small but an excellent location.

That Nottingham Cottage was so small that William lived there with Catherine and their firstborn before Harry lived there. It is 1,324 square foot and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom so even though it wasn't super big, it was big enough for the future king, (who is bigger than his little brother), his wife and his child and it is big enough for a bachelor which Harry was. They moved to a bigger house shortly after they were married though..
Basically, it's a free cottage.... where I'm from, I know many who are struggling to find a house... and apartment rents are sometimes more than my mortgage is. I honestly don't think Harry minded living there until Megan was in the picture... she seems to be really full of herself and expects the world to bow down to her. Sadly, in the beginning, I was really rooting for them.
