    Bro, I love that you finished the motos despite circumstances (no Stewart here)! Thunder Valley and the BigCat Racing team not mixing well lately. Proud of you two (you and your Dad) for making a day of it. We need to make an overdue sacrifice to the moto gods.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому +1

      Thanks, dude! Since bitching out of the Arenacross two years ago, I've been disappointed in myself and never want to give up like that again. It stinks riding around in last place but at least I have my dignity I guess. Didn't want to let my "fans," friends, and family down.

  • @quaussiemoto3939

    I'm beat just watching that, You rode awesome dude! shame about the wreck's though. You are a beast for finishing that last moto when it made no difference. You demonstrated the perfect attitude to take racing, Thats why I love your channel!

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому

      Thanks so much, Quaussie! I didn't want to let anyone down so I pushed through to the checkers. Had some bad luck on the day but that's how it goes sometimes.

    Had a triscuits ad right when you went sideways off the step down. One of the most suspenseful 15 seconds in my life. Glad you're ok man. Race days are tough, but in my experience, positive thinking on a bad day can pull you through. Not trying to tell you anything you probably already know, but I had that problem myself last season.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому

      Haha the suspense! Thanks Hobos. I tried to be positive but I'm just an anxious and nervous person so it can be rough.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO

    Awesome racing man! You did great 👍🏼. Few questions I just ordered a pro shot for my GoPro, what setting do you recommend recording in? Wide 60fps? Or normal 60fps? Also you said you were riding with your glasses on, how was it because I wear glasses but don’t ride with them and I was thinking about getting contacts for racing. What are your thoughts?

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому

      I run my gopro in Superview 60fps. I'd say try riding with glasses for yourself and see how it feels and go from there!

    Out of curiosity will you not use the helmet that was in the crash again? because helmets are one impact items and it looked like it took a decent hit (hard enough to break the mount)

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому +1

      Nah, not going to replace it from this one. I need a new helmet eventually but not from this crash. The velcro on the mount just came undone.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому

      Just the typical oil and oil filter changes and air filter changes. 8 - 10 hours on oil, air filter every other ride or when it needs it. I don't go too overboard with it. Also of course things like chain wax before riding and checking spoke torques.

      I do it for the kids! Many thanks to my pops for getting all the footage to make the motos worthwhile.
      I was doing second. I've heard of people doing first at TV before, but I feel you'd have to shift halfway up the hill and lose ground. I need to experiment with it more!

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  6 років тому

      I think 6 laps but I got lapped so I did one less. From gate drop to checkers I think it was 12 minutes for me, so probably about 14-15 minutes for the lead A rider.

    • @Seve941
      @Seve941 6 років тому

      ReturnOfDeeO Okay thats not that long as I thought.
      Our Amateur Motos here in Germany are between 20 minutes for the 125 youth classes and 25 to 30 minutes for the usual 250 or 450 amateur classes. But nice ride in the 2nd b-moto ! Looked quite solid.

    Would you be fine if your yz125 was your only bike? Im looking at getting one but im not 100% sold on the 2 stroke. I love it for being cheap to rebuild cuz i dont have a ton of $$$ so it be more convenient. People who ride 4 strokes say they rebuild there motor about 1nce every 2 years, i cant see spending 1k on a motor rebuild? Basically what im asking, Do you like your yz125

      well id be more for trail riding/ trace and hare scramble every here and there. If its acutally 20 hours then its a no go i do not have the time to do that.

      well that would last a lot longer i was pinned all the time on a moto track soo... it didn't last long but if your riding trails you should be got for a 50-60 hour rebuild then if not longer and its only around 200 so you cant beat it.

      Exactly what Isaac said. It locks the forks down so you can get on the gas harder without wheely-ing.
