Anyone else got this randomly recommended after 5 years?🤔
Yup,looks damn good thou 👍
I just got it now lol. Worth it though
no im here cause i typed this in
yea i was like sure i'll watch it again
Yup.. google knows my thoughts.. I was just think I want a stuffed pork
Can I make a suggestion Jeff? More flavor and success in this dish would have been accomplished by pre searing the pork on all sides of those slices giving additional flavor to the pork and giving the pork a head start over the pineapple and bacon. Lower temperature in the smoker for a slower and longer cook and also once you get the bacon to a perfect color you could then pull the pineapple and wrap the whole thing in parchment paper and foil on top of that. To decrease swelling, poke holes into the whole thing keeping the juices to wind up in the foil wrap which you can then simmer and reduce to a nice glaze afterwards.
Spot On X, Nice suggestions - I was thinking along these lines myself when I saw that disaster at the end - Another thing I would add is to spray some of the Pineapple juice (very light misting) to the top of the pineapple, then "Wrap" the Top of the Pineapple with a Terry Cloth to keep it from over-cooking. Then follow the rest of your guidelines till perfection. ALSO - during the smoking I would Spritz (Not Baste) the Swineapple about once 45-min to hour to keep that Bacon from crisping up like that - Maintain a moisture blanket without disturbing the weave - Not sure if I would go lower than 225 on the heat, but definitely wrap after about 2-3 hours (Visual on the Bacon), not going to get any more smoke flavor after that anyway. Maybe, you tell me, the same 3-2-1 Method you would do for Ribs - 3-(Hours) Smoke, 2-Wrapped, 1-Glazing. Can't wait to take all this knowledge to the Smoker - My Wife LOVES Pineapple so this will be a great surprise. Oh yeah, before I forget, I think I would put a little brown sugar, Margarine, and a tiny amount of honey in the bottom of the Pineapple before putting in the meat - Not much, maybe a total of 2 Tablespoon all combined, (Maybe not, it's all about experimentation) - That with my Home-made Rub - Mouth is watering already.
Genius!!
Kevin Stailey sorry Kevin for some reason I never saw this response. I don’t think there are any rules but I would avoid using margarine and only use real butter. Another way to do this would be to cook it wrapped through the beginning and then obtain your bark towards the end so that you don’t soften up the bacon too much. Reversing the process in this case which is something we do in the kitchen with roasts quite often.
Yes and to ensure the porks cooked all the way but definitely would be a better way to do it to sear it why not take the extra step it already takes 4 hrs lol
ChrisTopher - I think he did it right. A slower cook with pineapple would turn that pork into mush. I stuffed a pig once with chopped pineapple and rabbits. The rabbits dissolved and the pork ribs turned to mush. Never again.
Friend of mine is Pacific Islander his dad stuffs pineapples like this with firm white fish fresh chilli and coriander wraps in bacon then foil and cooks on the coals. It's lovely tasting, please try that as well.
North Sea Brent that what she said
+chris jones hahahahahahaha 😂 👍👍👍
This is one of the most AWESOME food creations I've ever witnessed! Well done, Jef!
Pure genius! i never would have thought of this!
this recipe looks AMAZING.thank you for sharing and for your time.
i thought he said "Welcome back to Smoke Weed with jef" ;D
+Uncleshoulder andersson Nice, I can see why you may "hear" this. ;-)

I am going to tell my mom to make this. She probubly wont but i am going to try.
haywood jeblome do it yourself
Its complicated. I make stuff like frozen pizza, eggos, pot tarts, hot pockets, and cereal.
I am a big fan! Good job Jef
Omg guga
Wow
Can't believe he doesn't read comments
Damn guga, I can't believe you support this crap.
And tutay we are gonna be cuking a deleeshis steak. And when Im taking about is an amasing Wagyu A5 steek. Poot a little guga rub and so it is enough talking, so les dooet!
Will be trying this during the weekend. As someone who loves pineapple, I can see one easy improvement and that's to pick up a cheap, steel pineapple de-corer/stem-remover
Wow!that finished product looks really delicious!
Followed suit on this cook - was awesome and highly recommended! - thanks Jeff for the inspiration!
Gotta give this a try. Thinking I might make a cocktail in the hollowed out pineapple using a dark rum mix then using that pineapple for the swineapple, allowing some rum to soak in then add that flavor to the pork
+adsoldschool Sounds like a plan to me.
make a 3 hour video....and show us............lmao
Kim Eggleston hahaha
That turned out really nice Jeff!! I especially like the sliced pic!
That looks amazing! Love it!
Jeff - They look delicious - mouth watering - Great Cooking mate - Thank You for Posting
There is a tool made specifically for removing the inside of pineapples. It’s less than $3, and makes it super easy. You basically cut the top off and screw it in, then as it reaches the bottom, just extract. The pineapple is cored and comes out like a slinky.
I got one it’s made out of stainless steel and it’s awesome. And the slinky pinnaple that comes out is fun!!!
where did you find that?
You can find them at Walmart (the plastic ones), or Amazon (the plastic version, or stainless steel)
@@lisasingh5816 I went to the hardware store for some bolts and in the clearance area was 3 pineapple cutters. lol I literally laughed and said no way. $3 for one that was amazing
Nice!!
I just tried this yesterday and I have to say, holy swineapple! I did 2 things different: I cut the top and bottom of the pineapple to make it easier to hollow out, and I was drinking bud light instead of shock top! :) Was awesome and a huge success!
I hope you don’t drink bud light in 2024
great videos jeff. my dad just bought me my first smoker and we will be using it for the first time tomorrow. I'm definitely going to buy some Bradley racks and a huge cutting board
Thank you for this video! I'm pretty excited to try your dry rub as well. When it arrives I'll let you know how the next Swineapple turns out! I tried my own tonight (cooking two of them for competition purpose) so I will be sure to compare them all.
But yeah, this is a great idea and I'm hoping it turns out fantastic. I don't have a smoker but I watched a few videos on using the "snake" method on a Weber kettle. I have 2 of them going now (same method, same amount of charcoal) with some pecan wood on top for a little extra something.
Keep up the channel and the good work!
DFC
There is a tool for hollowing a pineapple it makes it into rings like youd get from a can
U got yourself a new Subscriber my friend and that looks so good🤤
That has to be the best reveal in cookery videos!
Wow looks Delish turned out awesome thanks for recipe can't wait to try it out!!
I am addicted to smoked pineapple after making this lol Stick with the pork loin, I tried country ribs and it wasnt as good as the one I made with loin. Looks great man!
I made this for the first time. used country style. the meat came out with a strange texture. I wasn't able to eat it. it had a soggy layer.
Official subscriber! :) you rock!! We will be watching your videos loyally! Thank you for your time recording and putting yourself out there with these wonderful skills. Ignore the annoying comments also! People are just mad they eat mcdonalds while you are making delicious food!
This looked fantastic!
Cheers from Norway!
frickin phenomenal dude! simple, yet beautiful. and I know it tastes great. subscribing NOW!
6:48 missed a golden opportunity to say, "Alright, time to pork this pineapple."
Jeff..surprised your fence is still standing..defending against your ravenous neighbors that were tortured by the aroma that drifted over during the process..great job..and i am going to have to try this..
Love your vids. Happy Smoking!
That is amazing very good job buddy I'm going to try out this thanks for the good tips 👍
Lmao he burnt the shit out it 12:00

Make the pork loin into a roast or smoked meat with sliced apples on top and apple juice for basting.
Bartosz Piórkowski i
Swine apple pen
It looks very delicious you did a good job on it. I will try to do it because my kids love bacon and pineapple.
That looks really good. Nice work!
287 vegetarians did not approve of the bacon weave
internet grammar police.. well played
"did not approve of the bacon weave" Maybe they were muslims, non?
" or jewish"I don't see any Jews filing 'hate crimes' for BLT's or having bacon on synagogue doorknobs, do you?
....or especially vegans???? 😨😱😁😂
"or especially vegans???? "Who tells who what they should eat, eh? I don't mind if vegans eat twigs and berries. If they want to eat that stuff, their choice. My choice is to eat bacon, non?
Poor SpongeBob, he was cooked alive inside his own home.
The pineapple have been hollowed out, he is fine.
Wow! Great recipe and great channel. Thanks for the ideas
What an amazing idea. I really would love to try this some day. I am a big fan of all of those ingredients.
If you don't have a smoker, use your oven, and add a little liquid smoke when you season your meat. Or, you could stuff it with any kind of smoked sausage or chorizo
I'm just looking at the thumbnail and thinkin'..."I don't got time for that, I want that bacon now!"
This is one of the most beautiful things ever. Well, right after a bacon bikini.
I haven't heard truer words in a long time!
@@elenmascaradoescarlata7005 There is a brand of (normal) bikinis called "bacon bikini", and I consider that cruel click-bait.
I often will rub my pork roast with brown sugar and pineapple, those go together great. Stick that on the grill and you be able to smell it from down the street, smells awesome.
This...is the most amazing thing I have ever seen
it's a tropical heart attack
Creamcheese Diarrhea Bacon Pineapple Grenade right where your heart should be.
But it does look tasty! I think your name is gonna change the original recipe through my reply though.

Shepherd Of Light 😄😂
Baka Ch nice
Does anyone else plan on never making this in their entire life?
I will probably attempt one next weekend!
I'm doing it next weekend, although various modifications to make it better
@@blazeandcyrus just a few mods😂
So many beautiful things to do with pork and he does this
no thanks to his shitbag instructions
You sir are a genius and I am definitely making this.
Love my guy sipping the day away. Makes me feel welcomed.
*cooks pork in a pineapple*
"oh, you can taste the pineapple... that's amazing"
I know right what a shocker!!😂😂That's fuckin hilarious!
Haha, he said about every hour or so he’s going baste the swineapple with the pineapple juice to keep it “moist”
Very cool and simple. I've got this, this weekend.. awesome, thanks for sharing buddy. Awesome idea. oh love the shirt also!!!
I just watched 3 of your videos and every one is better than the last. I keep saying I'm going to make that until I see the next video then that's what I want to make next. You sir are like a mad man of smoking!
+Robert Durham The plan is to keep them coming.
It actually taste better when you wrap the meat with the bacon and then place inside the pineapple
Frank Lucas What if you wrap the meat and pineapple in bacon.....
+Ron Smith the pineapple would absorb it and the bacon wouldn't burn.
youve never cooked anything outside of a microwave have you bud?
I agree with Frank,,also doesn't the bacon grease just drip off the pineapple into the grill? bacon grease isn't really even getting to the meat
I don’t like that he doesn’t actually show how he is doing things like cutting the pineapple, trimming fat, making bacon weave..etc.
Ya Ik. Video could have been like 7 min shorter too lol.
Excellent recipe!!! Great idea!! Thanks for sharing and keep in touch my friend..
tiebutchersknot
Yesterday I ordered a pizza with bacon pineapple chicken bbq sauce chicken and onions, so I know this has to be amazing 😍😍

WOW! Yep, adding this to the list of things I must make.
I just put two of these on the smoke, but I bought I third pineapple because I was so jealous of your drink that I had to make one of those also!
You should show us what your doing. Not just cut it out.
i said the same thing
Drop it on mecca and medina.
Perfect for your Ramadan buddies!
blasphemy! what a waste of good pork loin. :D
maybe use pig blood mixed with water instead.
HabsCanada1 Clearly you are no follower of Jesus. Jesus Christ was a child of Israel. He ate no pork.
He ate fish and so can you, but God told Peter that he could eat whatever he liked and that includes BACON!
rockribbed rushy fake story Anyway
Looks great. Good presentation there at the end!
Love the recipe AND your t-shirt -- TRUTH!
DON'T DO THIS!!
I tried this recipe years ago when the idea first hit the scene. The enzymes in the pineapple turn the pork into mush. It has an awful mushy 'mouth feel'. After one bite, the whole thing went into the trash.
Anon amous thanks fo the info
What you are saying is true, however if you cook it immediately it comes out right. You cannot let it set out or in the refrigerator too long cook it immediately.
I tried making this as well, disgusting texture
LOL I'm sure your neighbors love you with all that smoke blowing in their doors and windows.
Gwen McClure if they are bothered then fk em
Gwen McClure It's not just smoke, it's BBQ smoke. Everyone loves BBQ smoke, so I'm sure you weren't being sarcastic in your comment.
Gwen McClure :He probably invites them over to eat :)
This inspires me to make a Thai inspired pineapple fried rice with bits of pork & even shrimp it could be smoked with a more mild flavored wood, or grilled even baked or steamed. thanks Jef! if you like my idea try it & maybe even do a video...I'm sure you would have a good outcome...hey Salmon would be good in there too, Asian or Latin either way!
Great idea.. looks amazing
...WHY DID YOU OMIT THE PORK FAT FROM PORK...? I LIKE THE NATURAL PORKY FAT..
Tony Samson ...DAMN...! THAT'S SICK MAN...!
why am I watching this I'm a vegetarian
No one asked you just want us to know you are..jk
Omg
Pure madness!! In the most genius way!!
I have changed this amazing creation some. I make smaller strips of pork and I use cranberry stuffing inside with the pork :)
just make the dam thing. you talk too much.
I've seen people explain things in way less time . dude talks too much. didn't even finish watching
Thumbs up just for all the work u had to put into this.
Wooo awesome grilling ice cold beer can't be better than that enjoyed in good health
get a job
Get a life
Sia Maleki says the guy in his comment section
1st time to your channel. You are definitely different than the others. Love that you drink while your doing this like most of us do. Great video
dis guy is so chill
Such a genius. How smart you are little men
I've seen two versions of this. One where you cut the pineapple in half and this version. Also heard you should cook the pineapple a bit first, because it has an enzyme that makes meat mush. Think I'll cook the pineapple a bit first, then cook the pineapple and pork a while, then add bacon so bacon doesn't get overcooked.
I love using pineapple cores in my pan while I brown meat from frozen, nice and slow, it's made some awesome and complex Chilli for me.
Oh my this looks so tasty. Hopefully we'll be eating this soon.
I almost ate my phone watching this it looked so good!!!!
I like the way this guy works. Drink a little, cook a little. Need to keep the cook oiled
Wow this is everything 🙌
My suggestion for smoking pork would be Applewood. I really like using Guavawood, but I have never seen it available locally. I have my own Guava bushes that die back to the ground in the winter some years, so I use the wood from those bushes to cook pork or chicken. Of course, I could use it on Beef, but I use more readily available wood like Mesquite, Hickory, Oak, or Pecan for that.
Great Job Man. I will try this and I make a great pineapple bbq sauce. So I already know this taste pretty good. Keep it up
I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE DRINKING A SHOICK TOP SO COOOL WOWWWW
You should have called your channel 'Smokin & Drinkin with Jef'
Gonna say out the gate. I am making this now. I got a pineapple corer. 💯 Worth the money got mine at Walmart for 5 bucks and I had my pineapple cored in less than a minute.
still looks good to me!!! very creative!
omg this looks amazing!!!!!
i cannot wait to try this
Looks scrumptious
cant wait to try it
