That's a load of abuse on that bike, and entering /exiting corners with such force unsettles the ride, ducati rider does it so skillfully 👌

That is some intense riding. Just got a 999 a month ago. I'm newish to riding (I know, I know). Maybe one day in the long future I can ride that well. Taking it easy and learning slowly. Not pushing anything.

    Fun to see 👍
But , the Gixxer is in limit and rev all it can stressfull 🤭
Pop , drive pretty muted and better ”flow” all the way …
999 is pure Racing bike 👍

    The Ducati runs smooth.
Father run safe and not stressfull..
Gixxer over rev time to time but never beat Tripple 999 …
Don’t chase father like you try because it will end bad !
Ride safe and know your skills .
    Yes , ride 999 😉

How I explain my 999 to friends. It's not angry. Just impatient. If you are going too slow or over revd under 50mph it will burn your ass off. When it's throat opens (you'll feel it) it's time to start riding. Absolutely a time machine.
No bucking bronco to throw around and get a workout. (Like the son in this vid). I'm exhausted watching. It's a thoroughbred. The torque is available at every rpm. 40-80mph in 3rd is the same acceleration as 90-130mph in 6th. And it will beg you to use more with it's stability. Always.
Been riding 30yrs. Got my desmo bucket list bike from a collector with 7k miles. He tuned and parted it into a 999R track bike.
Went 200+ at Bonneville on a fire breathing 91 YZF1000 a century ago. Scared the thrill seeker out of me.
As uncomfortable as it is to ride at my age. I never want to get off of it and everyone avoids talking shit about ability when I take my helmet off and they see the gray hair. R1 are fun, mine is more fun. I'm 50 and the bike is me. Classic, low milage, no ABS and highly underestimated.

Dude that was an awesome ride! Can I get the details on your pops 999? It just seems like he has it absolutely dialed and I'm curious what he's done to it. Anyhow 10/10

R6 guy. Grab a higher gear everywhere youret and your suspension and steering will work better. Uoure gonna kill yourself cuz the high revivving through corners tightens up the chain and locks the suspension and youre over shooting the corners sometimes. Try it , youll see its better. SMOOTHER IS FASTER.
