Vinny should definitely try the DSvania randomizer. Scrambling level layouts, enemies, weapon mechanics, and player sprites is really fun, and boss stats are balanced around how early you fight them.
Fun fact, the game's coding script labels the Inner Quarters as just "harem". The Headhunter doesn't just collect his victim's heads, he collects girls too.

I liked Harmony of Dissonance best for how straightforward it was. There wasn't any messing around with grinding for drops, just a lot of exploration. Circle of the Moon is also right.
I was really hoping for a different console upcoming from Nintendo. I know I'm in the minority but I don't like the Switch. I bought one and played it for maybe a couple hours. It's been in the box since then. Switch games have been played but it was on my PC. They run so much better here.
I think the switch is fine, but God damn the ergonomics suck donkey dick. Honestly if they molded some plastic on the back of the joycons and make them feel better I would play it way more often. I know there are adapters or whatever you want to call it click on the switch, but that feels like a leave it up to someone else type of problem or solution
Yeah Vinny if he wants the true ending he would HAVE to avoid killing enemies as much as possible lest he get certain souls that would trigger the bad ending. Undertale before Undertale was a thing, but getting early Final Sword and Black Panther makes things easier.
You have it the other way around. You get good ending (and more gameplay) if you have 3 specific souls equipped - Succubus, Flame Demon and Giant Bat. You get bad ending if you have any other soul equipped. It's because those three souls are supposed to signify Dracula's power. Flame Demon is literally the classic Dracula fireball attack from older games too.
