I used those worms in the late 70's to catch catfish in a local river. The neighbor behind me had a boy my age and a catalpa tree. In the summer we practically went fishing every day and always used catalpa worms.
That’s awesome! Just pulled about 40 from the trees in the backyard to give a try
You’re not going to be disappointed!!
Great looking cats! Really liked that first one that hit as you were explaining. Impressive demonstration of the effectiveness.
That was definitely pretty lucky!
HECK YEA THEY WORK. I LOVE CATALPA WORMS! THAT'S ALL I USE AND I'VE CAUGHT A BUNCH OF CHANNELS AND BIG BLUES WITH THEM. WE HAVE PLANTED A BUNCH OF CATALPA TREES AND WE GET A COUPLE THOUSAND WORMS OFF OF THEM EVERY YEAR. I ENJOYED THE VIDEO AND THOSE WERE SOME NICE CATFISH! GREAT VIDEO!
I get 'em off the trees over at mom's all the time. I have even put them in the freezer for using later! Enjoy your channel!
Let get it big homie.
That would have been an expensive fishing trip, I would have gobbled that candy up
Wow. I guess they like them alright. Great job.
They absolutely do! And thank you!
Dawg, little man came through. Hell yeah young brother👊
He always does!!
I use to love fishing with these fierce looking worms in South Georgia!
They are so good…
Great catfish bait. We pop the head off and turn them inside out.get a u shaped piece of electric wire and make a horseshoe and turn two and then put them on the hook. The inside green and white crap ... They love it
Great video and we learned something new!!!
My girl has a catalpa tree, I've been sleeping on those worms bud
They’re pretty great man.
Catfish love these things
indeed it is I actually have a video coming n a week or so using these babies
Heck yea, they’re amazing!
Nice fish! Are those worms like a tent caterpillar?
They are catalpa worms coming from the catalpa tree.. i don’t think you’ll have a tree like this in PA
@@KyGuyFishing no we don’t I think it gets to cold for them or something
@@OfftheHookOutdoors99 it definitely gets cold there.
Cool man. What's the kayak your on, I'm a big guy but I dont wanna spend 5k on a piece of plastic

Have plenty in Pennsylvania. Just picked up 50 from my dad's tree
Some Nice Healthy Channel Cats, well done 👍
Thank you sir!
Dang those worked wonders
Yea man they’re legit
My pawpaw used to use them and catch catfish after catfish even if there were people there for 10 hours without a bite
Awesome video following from fishbrain
Thanks man
Got three behind my house at my father-in-law’s
I call the togie worm
You need to do your research on the tree is not just southern tree. There is a northern and southern
I've never had luck on them.
Really??? That’s crazy.
Yup. Had a tree in yard when I lived in Lexington. I had heard about it, caught a half gallon of them. Took them to Taylorsville lake and nothing. Gave up after 30 mins.
Live hellgrammites, that's another story. Those things actually catch your fish...literally!!!
I've been crushing massive cats with these catawba stink baits
Tiger worms
1000 bucks for one of those worms, do you would not had asked me twice
I well eat 30 for 1000
