Am I the only one who recognizes the transmission is really buggy? And also that turbo, since it’s electric suppose to be no lag, even when at low speeds some times it tries to kick in and makes it very jagged.
I will say, I don’t hate the C43, and that 2.0L turbo 4 is powerful, but the sound is weird from the inside because it is fake. This is when I would miss the sound of the V6. Again not a bad car, but the previous generation looked a bit better and the 3.0L V6 sounded glorious.
I do agree. I drove the v6 c43 and tbh this 2.0t is more fun for some reason lol. That rear steering is insane. Never experienced anything like that in my life. Quick to respond and very nimble! I love it
@@themercedestraveler9566 starting $61 which means close to $70k. For a 2 liter that doesn't sound great. Surprisingly that same engine sounds better on a a45 and a35.
@Darvin Milevic I guess depends on options. The one I optioned out ended at 65k. I don't need fancy paint or real leather performance seats etc. But yes I agree the 45 engine did sound better.
@@themercedestraveler9566 the one hes reviewing is actually 77K and its even without the bigger wheels. Thats a 400 hp 4 cylinder into a sub 80k dollars. I would say its not worth in this case.
@Trung Nguyen yes because of insane options. This one being reviewed has incredible unnecessary options like full leather performance seats, etc etc etc. You can spec a beautiful one for 63 to 65k.
How does this compare to the S4 or M340i? Would we be missing the V6? I’ve only driven the S4 before. Both BMW and MB are treating their C43 and M340is like the holy grail lol. Test drives are hard to get here in SFL.
i have a '23 M340i and i'd take it over a C43. The B58 engine is reason enough. And, the C43 is a little bit more expensive when equipped like for like. I personally wouldn't want a 4 cylinder over a straight 6, if both were the same price and available to me. Though the c class stylistically does look great.
For the 2023 models: engine noise & reliability goes to bmw, interior & comfort mb. Driving experience was actually pretty similar in my book, both very responsive, bmw maybe felt a tad more linear and direct (wasn’t pushing anything too hard w the sales dude in the car). At the end of the day I went with the mb for the comfort and really good driver assist features. I think if you’re looking for pure driving experience bmw is the way to go, but both are a lot of fun.
@@Vetrexus You summed up the two better than I've seen explained before in short format. My experience was the same. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but am leaning towards the MB because of advanced driver assist functions (I'm a disabled veteran) and it just struck me as the better daily driver. The B58 in the BMW is for sure the better engine.
Please learn how to launch the car before you do a video.. traction control must be in sport mode or off. Car must have break in mileage complete. once in launch mode you can adjust rpms for launch with paddle shifters....
@@themercedestraveler9566 astetically the interior is still modern for being almost 10 years old. The new generation is coming too and I’m sure it’s going to be 10x better than the current

I have one ordered for my birthday for November pick up can’t wait. Love this video and know I can’t wait to get it.
This AMG model does shift to the lowest gear if you hold down the left paddle. I have one.
Does it have a drift mode?

can you review a GLE 580 again (the refresh) NO ONE except you have done a review (POV) of the 580, but we need a new one! Great review!
Definitely. Sometime this week for sure 💪🏽😄

Beautiful 🤩
You in KY? I’m in northern KY and if you want to do a GLA45 retire, I just got a 23 in grey magno.
Id love to but I am in CT :( but thank you so much. Very nice of you!
I don’t like how it don’t have a stick shift but everything else is good
After driving Mercedes's 9 speed automatic, I don't think you'll ever want to go back to a manual. I would never go back.
Nice video
It felt very good 😊🤗😘

The car isn’t for everyone. If you know, you know.
It would, personally not get the heads up display because the tub looking thinks looks terrible
Would you recommend this , the v8 c63 orrr the new c63 coming out?
highly recommend. I just bought one last week.
That price doh
Not worth the price that's for sure
$61k is not bad for this one, in my opinion. The regular c300 is 52 - 56k
