These Rogan stories remind me of Julius Caesar as he was coming up. Going into significant debt to make people happy and love him and it paid off a million times over again. I’m not at all saying they had the same motives or that Rogan was in debt. It is just crazy that in both cases doing things for others was remembered and rewarded from clients as favors or just by the universe blessing you. I really liked seeing the "real" Tucker and Ari ! I appreciate it. Mr. Tucker you belong in politics ... you got my vote. (not while on the network, but now for sure) and as far as Ari... I liked seeing this side of him, I am a bigger fan now !

Joe Rogan is popular bc of his podcast. He has people on his show from taboo areas and talks with them and ask them questions most people wanna know. It’s 2-3 hours and not 5 minutes like conventional media. He found a niche that anyone can do hence all the successful podcasts available. Has nothing to do with comedy

Owen Benjamin making jokes 6 years before joe and co. make the same jokes. One is shamed and can’t tour, the others are praised and make millions for being “edgy” long after the appropriate time to make the jokes

I think Rogan helped to save America, true, he is a central source of discussion, that people actually listen to, having said that, I don’t think Rogan is particularly funny, at all, he’s a good host, cuz that’s what he is, a host…

I’d argue that Rogan is going through the ‘inconvenient elder / elder statesman’ stage. But these guys are old enough to still see it as cutting edge.
It WAS cutting edge (in, like, a casual, understated way) but that peak has been and gone.
Now it’s just a dusty institution. That’s how quickly things go through the cycle of thrive and decline now.

I've said it before, I enjoy watching you more here then at your former employer. I mean I literally had you on for background noise mostly. Nothing personal. Now I think I know why I'll sit down to watch a TCN video, where I almost never had before the switch. They were not allowing your full potential as a journalist, plus what you got to report was what they wanted you to report. Really like the New!👍🏼
