    Really great tutorial. I felt so relaxed watching you paint. I have difficulty with over detailing and this really helped me. I really love to go in a do every leaf, but in the end it really takes a lot away from the whole painting. Thanks so much.

      its ok it happens. at my work i gotta do stuff so detailed that stops looking atractive imo.. but if its gonna be printed in a big size then is really necesary.

    how do you paint a scifi space with spaceship and planets, would you paint everything in greyscale first or directly paint it with color?. how do you merge layers without deleting the layer masks when you have multiple things to select is it good to merge everything and do the selections all the time or just add temp layers and erase what you dont need?

    • @JesusCondeArt
      @JesusCondeArt  6 років тому

      they are good.. but. photoshop is the industry standart.. so. thats prefered if you ever want to work on this. is not like you wont get works with the others but... its like...for example, youtube vs other video pages... youtube just crushes them all.... others are good... but this is the king... long time ago. there was a huge battle between corel painter and photoshop.

    • @animakuz

      It's probably a feature of photoshop. Or maybe using the 3d effects to make a box in perspective then give it a wireframe effect.

      @ProxCyde 7 років тому +29

      If you have a flat, squared grid pattern # (can probably find them on google) import that into any scene you want, duplicate it so you have 4 (making up ceiling, floor and walls), then skew each one with the transform tool Ctrl-T to get the view you want. Make sure to align the edges of each duplicate.

    Hola Jesus, todos tus dibujos estan super chidos. Estoy estudiando dibujo de tu pagina hace un rato ya y estoy encantada. Me gustaría preguntar algo: si te vas utilizar un dibujo para impresión en larga escala, como lo trabaja en Photoshop para que no salgan en mala calidad en un Mural de nueve metros, por ejemplo? Tecnicamente, como los configura?
    Gracias por compartir su trabajo increíble! Saludos.

    • @JesusCondeArt
      @JesusCondeArt  6 років тому +1

      hola daphne! bueno en teoria podrias meter el tamaño en la cantidad de metros en vez de pixeles.
      lo poco que se de impresion. cuando se hacen cosas tan grandes se trabaja entre 72 y 100 de resolucion,
      algunas personas dirian que es poco. pero hacer un archivo de 9 metros de ancho o alto a 300 de resolucion es una locura.
      cuando estas configurando el canvas, en imagen/tamaño de imagen , hay una pestaña que normalmente te da Pixeles, cambialo por centimetros y mete las distancias que quieres
      si es un archivo muy grande pues reduce la resolucion y trabaja a un tamaño mas adecuado.
      si son vayas publicitarias normalmente la imagen original no es de ese tamaño. es mucho mas pequeña. solo que no se nota con la distancia.
      =) espero ayudara en algo mi respuesta. por favor sigue mi instagram o compartelo , gracias! instagram.com/jesuscondeconcept/

    Very nice! I can't say I've ever seen someone use so many layers. Do you have a specific reason for this? I've never used more than five to ten well-defined layers for foreground to background transitions. My guess is that having 50+ layers makes it very hard to go back and change anything, because you don't know what belongs to each layer.

    • @JesusCondeArt
      @JesusCondeArt  6 років тому

      not at all. ive done paintings with like 150 layers. depends on what you are doing., normally i create lots of layers then i start collapsing them to save computer resources... gets heavy when you have too much

    Hola Jesus! Noté que hablas español por tu nombre jeje, dos preguntitas, recien esoty comenzando a aprender arte digital con photoshop y una wacom intuos y quería saber como haces al comienzo del video para colocar ese "room" o ambiente tridimencional lleno de líneas? Me parece espectacular dibujar con una perspectiva asi :D! Y por último, si recien estoy comenzando y quiero llegar a aprender todo lo necesario (aparte de practicar todos los días por supuesto) sobre las tecnicas y teorías para dibujar y pintar como tú...hay algun curso que tengas o alguno que me recomiendes (sea Inglés o Español entiendo perfecto ambos)? He visto los de Tyler Edlin, pero me parece buena opcion tener una opinion como la tuya! Excelente video y muchas Gracias!!

    • @JesusCondeArt
      @JesusCondeArt  6 років тому +1

      For that one I was using a Wacom intuos 5 medium. But right now I'm using an Xp pen deco 2 and I'm very impressed with it

      Oh awesome I use the Huion 1060 PLUS and I just got it. I am very new to this whole thing and its pretty hard to use. There is a definite learning curve to these graphics tablets. Do you have any tips?

    • @clemj7928
      @clemj7928 6 років тому

      make sure to calibrate it over and over until the mouse pointer is where you expect it to be. Once you do that, find the pen setting in your drawing software and see what feels right. Practice and watch tutorials and speed paints. You will slowly get the technique. It is much harder(for me) to shade things digitally than on paper. Use as many references as possible. after a while of experimenting with brushes, you will start understanding everything. Once that happens, you will start making beautiful art pieces. Good Luck!

    • @clemj7928
      @clemj7928 6 років тому

      it took me week to adjust to the pen. Technique however, takes months. But it is so much fun. Btw I am not at the good point yet. Im at the too much detail/ not enough detail faze

    I'd love to see a "fire and water" scene from you. I recently saw some images/video from the USGS of a lava flow like a waterfall falling off a cliff straight into the sea. So there's the dark-blueish rues of the newly formed rock, the red hot lava flows, the white smoke and steam explosions from where the lavafall hit the ocean and the blue-green of the ocean too.
    This is the link to the piece I read

      @JesusCondeArt  6 років тому +1

      Watch the video of how I make the perspective grid. Download the content and just put it on top of everything in multiply blending mode.
