It was a dirty hit. The receiver had no chance of catching the ball before he got hit and was already being tackled by the other defender. The defender lead with his shoulder and hit him in the head I think it was a good call
It was definitely against the rules, but i don't believe the Notre Dame player was trying to injure the QB, especially because he hit him right as he was releasing the ball, he just made contact to the QBs head. By rule its a penalty, but i don't think its a cheap or dirty hit as i don't think there was intent to injure, so i agree with you.
0:55 ok but how is that fair, the punter's running as if he's planning on faking and running with those guys blocking for him and decided to punt last minute
Razorback fan here, and that hit by Wade was fucked up. Dude was nothing but a criminal when he went to Arkansas, stealing computers and shoes from dorms, getting into fights on Main Street in Fayetteville, dwi, fighting cops. He was cut from the team a week after that hit. To bad, because he was a excellent wr/return man, couldve been in the league.
The suplex of the Alabama/Missouri game was seriously egregious. Not only does the game have barely 2 minutes in regulation, you're up by *32* and you try to injure an opponent...they'd have to pull out a minimum of 5 touchdowns with at least 3 extra points to win...in 2:21 (somewhere between 24 and 30 seconds *per touchdown play*).
That wasn't the only time Alabama under Saban has done that. I remember at the end of their 2013 game against LSU they sacked QB Zach Mettenberger and smashed him to the ground so hard that he was trying to crawl off the field, utterly dazed. Meanwhile, the Crimson-clad fans were grinning and high-fiving each other in the stands, with little care whatsoever to the fact that he could be (potentially) seriously injured. A pretty big POS move, and that's not including other MASSIVE hits they've laid on opponents. That team and fanbase sometimes treat this sport like it's a freakin WAR (that must be won with violence).
@@teddymachon5550 How can he move? He was literally less than .5 of a second away from blocking the punt and his momentum carried him through the punter. The Memphis block on the Mississippi punter was not a cheap shot!
I don’t think that the Michigan one is a cheap shot because the punter wasn’t down yet so Devin Bush had to make sure he was
Yeah it really was more of a bad play with a hit that looked worse than it was
It’s really sad seeing some of these guys trying to actually end each other’s careers.
You would be surprise how many coaches tell them to do that tho
Lives not careers, these guys are head hunting animals
What's even worse is fans defending this kind of behavior.
Crazy seeing someone from my high school on this list. Especially since my high school is fairly small. Sucks to see plays like these though.
nah man the michigan iowa play where the punter trips isn't targeting, that's just a unfortunate series of events lol.
NCAA will call it targeting since a helmet to helmet hit after the play is over pretty much no matter what.
Pen state 99 I don't know if it's the same guy but I saw do a cheap the other day. But I could mistaking.
Is no one going to talk about the fact that Iowa completely copied the Steelers uniforms????
I used to 40 years ago, but not lately. Lol
No Steelers started in the NFL in 1933 Iowa started college football in 1889 so it's the other way around
@@ysptaven9548 im pretty sure neither had uniforms like that back then
Dane Osborn no I think they did
@@supbruhwhoareyou3154 Good Lord that escalated quickly.
My dad told me the pros didn’t play nice. Jeez this took it to a new low lmao
1:13 sheeeeeesh
1:40 would make a great halloween costume
For context for those that dont know that big kicker likes to take blindside shots at players so he deserves what he got
At 4:40 that wasn't a cheap shot, just a late and dangerous shot. The QB knew that hit was coming.
Brandon Milligan helmet to helmet hit after the ball is gone is an automatic ejection in the NCAA.
3:40 when coach finally puts u in from setting the bench for 3 years for being to skinny
That ark vandy hit still gets me to this day
Just so you all know the penn state kicker was him flopping he started to be known for it
0:55 ok but how is that fair, the punter's running as if he's planning on faking and running with those guys blocking for him and decided to punt last minute
4:35 damn bent the qb's whole neck back 😂
Razorback fan here, and that hit by Wade was fucked up.
It’s a cheap shot when penn state punter gets hit but when he does it, it’s glorified
Austin Horton bro the difference is he only hit people with the ball, like you're supposed to
Austin Horton I think it’s because he was hitting the guy with they ball. Not just hitting someone just jogging down the field, lol tf u talkin about
The suplex of the Alabama/Missouri game was seriously egregious.
1:00 that ain’t no cheap shot his momentum took him into the punter
AllBlind808 yes but it is quite clear that he didn’t try to move and he hit him in around the torso area
@@teddymachon5550 How can he move? He was literally less than .5 of a second away from blocking the punt and his momentum carried him through the punter. This isn't like a QB getting hit late where a LB wraps him up and takes him down after he's thrown the ball. There was literally nothing the defender could do in this situation.
not cheap true, but certainly roughing
7:09 NO Ref Call at all there maybe it's clean idk.
was anyone else brought here by Myles Garret?
Chad Chadson Na
That’s the NFL, this is college.....
Yes sir
@@Teejayyy2 whats that?
My dumbass sittin here waiting for an NFL team
Where’s the ooooooooo I fall apart
Da Imagineer we use new intro now. Why are you obsessed with that song the points where you comment “Ooooo I fall apart” in two of our videos...
How does a roughing the kicker penalty on a block attempt equal a cheap shot?
Football cheap shots make rugby look like a
child’s game
Selfish Stockton for sure
That first clip, #14 got rocked
The vandy kid needs to be smarter than that😤
Yeah how dare him break down and make a play. This is 2019 football where you have to let the offense score because its illegal to tackle anymore.
josh Elliott stfu boomer, he’s talking about the play where he didn’t call a fair catch
I'm a razorback fan and that was a dirty play.
Guys it’s a joke the one dirty hit the vandy kid had was a joke bc it’s such a good school
josh Elliott you aren’t allowed to undercut a wr that’s in the air no are you allowed to use your head as a weapon.
