Yesterday my wife and I went to Perkins for breakfast, for less than $20 not only did I had breakfast but got a 1945 Wheatie in great shape in my change. Went through 15 rolls of nickels last week, maybe 2 holes in my albums were filled. The P on Canadian coins is more a privy mark 2002-2012, denoting "Plated" steel core. Newer 2006+ coins have the RCM logo not a letter.
Well before your time but they had a children's show called Double Dare. If you failed the objective then you got oozed and that reminded me of it 9:25
Thanx Q! Am hoping to find just one special coin to make up for the treasure I had more than 30 years ago. I actually had a 43 and a 44 copper/nickel penny. Had every year from 1883 -1969 and had I still had them would be a bajilionair lol not really bc I wouldnt sell :/ I've always had a thing for coins and treasure hunting in general bc of the history. Love the videos! Thank you for responding any tips are appreciated 👍
that one canadian nickle looked nice and looked like it was nickle at first glace to me so maybe you could weigh it to check it for a transition error or something
I just pulled a 1945 S out of the last roll in my box I picked up today. Very few 50's and below so I thought maybe this hobby was better left in the books where I left it 4 years ago but perhaps not! Then I remembered.... who was that guy I watched before on my other yt account. Lets see what the over under is. Nice video Quin! And I'll make sure to sub with my new account haha!
I watched you and your brother nic a date some nickels quite a wnile ago.You found a 1918 8/7, i found one last year and a couple of 2 feathers. If i could i would send a couple of pics.
What are good years to keep on coins. One video I watched the guy said he kept 1980 and before on all coins. Another guy seemed to infer he kept different dates and below on different coin amounts. On this video you said you keep 1960 and before. So which date do you keep from and earlier? I keep all wheat pennies, all Indian Head Pennie’s, all Buffalo Head nickels, all 1976 coins, all Kennedy head half dollars and all dollar Sacagawea coins. I think that’s it. I’ve asked others but no one relies. I hope you do. Enjoy your videos. Gonna order your plastic coin placemats one day soon.

@28:52 1946D Is that a scratch on top of the dome or doubling on the dome or a trick of the light?
Well before your time but they had a children's show called Double Dare. If you failed the objective then you got oozed and that reminded me of it 9:25
It could be a proof like or specimen coin.😊

Big like number 217! Excellent information and thank you so much for sharing!
Great finds

This year seems to be a good year for coin roll hunting. Especially nickels.
I'll say so! Pennies haven't been treating me as well though...
Nice. I just opened a roll and they were all '46 or '47 with one '40. Sadly no silver but really can't complain.
That is a great find! It must have been a rush!
@@QuinsCoins it was, and they just kept coming and coming. I was almost in shock.
Hi, New to the hobby and I’m loving your videos. Can I ask, why is your cutoff for nickels 1960?
I found a 1976 bicentennial but it wasn't an error coin
1963 Nickel looks fabulous, if not full steps, could be a 5 step with some value.???
Howdie yall! New subscriber here and 1st time poster. Am just getting back into collecting & need to ask what an 'ender' is?
An ender is just a keeper that shows itself right on the end of a coin roll, so you know you have something good without even opening the roll

If it was a proof Canadian coin the queen and the beaver would be frosted. Just a great quality coin!
I use a pair of nail clippers to cut perfect rounded corners on all of my paper crafts
Canadian coins just have a shinier look to them

I'm Sure Ryan will get to your question.b be patient...he usually replies to all, he just doesn't hit "reply all"!😂😂😂
I was wondering, what are the oldest nickels you have found?
I believe that my oldest was a 1900 V-nickel. I have never broken into the 1800s with nickels!
My oldest nickel I found coin roll hunting is a 1900 also.
Yes full steps
Great 63
The damage on the 64 my guess is that it came from a window punch. Good hunt! keep up the good work bud.
i have a 49 no mint
Your 1982 Canadian Nickel is a Proof Like nickel.
What about no mint mark nickles
The Canadian could be a proof
I see 4 steps all the way across.

Did U.S. just not make nikels in 2004-2005
Probably, this happens much more often in other countries tho
Beans
Save those 26 rolls for 2026. 😂
I stopped watching after you referred to a Nickle as a "badboy" twice, what the heck, its just a coin!!!
Dude, you need to stop saying "GUYS" everyother word!
Have you ever found any of the Swiss 20 Rappen in nickel rolls? I found one from 1969 still with some luster. One of my favorite foreign coins.
