Omg man I got tears in my eyes 🥲 that was the best on representing my home city Long Beach I’m out of state but I miss it
I came over to Long Beach for 3 weeks from the UK in 1980. I was 7 at the time and my family and I stayed with our American relations in a bottom floor house/flat called 'Seashore' on Ocean Boulevard overlooking Long Beach. It looks like the place has changed a lot in 38 years but some of my best memories from childhood were forged here thanks to the amazing American people we met there. I will never forget the great times we had and the warmth and friends we made.

I'm 19, born and raised in Long Beach even though I live a few cities away. Long Beach is the place I consider home and I'm sure I always will. I want to travel the world, and I'll make it a priority to, but I've had many conversations with my friends about how special it's been to have grown up in and live in Long Beach, California. Your description made me think of that. Long Beach will always be home.
I've had the good fortune to be able to travel to many different countries around the world. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had such opportunities to see and experience so many beautiful things in my travels. There's beauty everywhere in this world. There are nice people everywhere in this world. There's great food everywhere, too. But in the end, home is home, and you really don't start appreciating it until you leave. Long Beach is a great city no doubt. But it sometimes takes leaving it for you to really appreciate it.

I lived their since I was born. Its a really nice place where you will feel comfortable and feel like you belong their. Just wanted to say this cause a lot of people think that Long Beach is a bad place , trust me I was born and raised their, it’s wonderful.

It's happening all over the world and not just here in LB. Coastal cities, in particular, are going to have to deal with ever-growing populations and the challenges that they bring. Whether it's traffic, affordable housing, or pedestrian-friendly streets for people to enjoy the city, it's going to be a big challenge for public officials to come up with the solutions for these problems and we as residents have to be aware and involved more than ever or we'll suffer from the growing pains that the city is undergoing and if we're not careful, we can eventually get pushed out.

I had some one move to Long Beach an her 2 kids it was so much gang violence she had to call her father here in ny an the father had to get an Uber from where ever she lived in LBC to the airport in Las Vegas there was so much gang violence he had to sneak her out of there she did not bring their clothes , she was to scared , she was marked cuz they wanted her to dress her kids in gang colors, an they wanted her to join if she did not they would have kill her an u w know what was so bad she had only been out there for about 3 weeks, b for she had to call her father for him to sneak her out of that gang infested neighborhood don’t no where in Long Beach she was at so don’t ask me but every part of some where is bad but she is from n y an she said she has never seen the violence that she saw there even parents have their young kids in the game
