I really dont like Roger, but I love his relationship with ian. Especially that roger helps ian when he wants to kill himself. That makes Roger fall in love with life again.
I haven’t read the books, but I’ve read somewhere that Ian is depressed because he got married to a Mohawk woman and every time they tried to have a child, it ended with a miscarriage. After so many failed attempts, Ian was asked to leave the tribe because they believed that nature was giving them a sign that they weren’t compatible. Can anyone who read the books clarify this?
Claire's character thought that one of them was RH negative. My mother is Cherokee and she is RH negative. I don't know if it's common in Indian tribes or not. This would cause problems, especially if they were different blood types. My mother had great difficulty bearing children and one of her babies died @ 8 days old. She never recovered the loss. Imagine if this happened to a couple over and over.
@@gigiw.7650 Claire is probably right. But I don't think Native Americans have a lot of RH- blood. It's more likely Ian is negative I would think. The Frasers may be Rh- ...may be why Claire's 1st daughter Faith died. People with red hair have a higher frequency of Rh- actually. "Scientists believe that the occurrence of Rh negative blood is related to a mutation that is more likely in European populations. In people with European ancestry, there is a 40-45% frequency for the Rh negative allele, while in other peoples the frequency is much lower (only 15% of the world overall has the Rh negative trait)."
Quel episode!!!! Encore pleuré bien sûr 😂😂😂😂 quel plaisir de retrouver ian même si on comprend tres vite que quelque chose ne va pas. Je ne m en lasserai jamais.LOFE❤❤❤❤
No one hate on me please. The large boar that was killed. They are not native to North America. Yes, there likely would have been 'feral' pigs afield in the 1770s, but such pigs only resemble European Boars slightly. They look like tough pigs...not wild boars. The European Wild Boar was introduced into North America, actually not far from where Fraser's Ridge is supposedly located, in the 1920s by a wealthy landowner/hunter. He had several pairs of boars (male/female) captured and imported from the Carpathian mountains/forests and raised on his estate lands which now are part of the Great Smokey Mountains on the NC/Tenn/Va border region. They escaped over time and they interbred with local 'feral' pigs - and are a troublesome pest problem all across the US. This landowner even had some of his stock re-captured and brought to another estate in California...and the same problem has developed there too. Wild Boars are extremely dangerous if cornered, injured, or hungry. Jamie might not have surveyed this potential fight if it wasn't for Ian's timely arrival.
Can't wait for new season, have rewatched all 5 seasons so many times, I now know everyone lines, 🤪, lol. This was one of my favorites from that season though.
This is one of my favorites from that season as well. I was so saddened when Ian chose to stay with the Mohawk so Roger could go home. And we didn't see him for a few episodes. He is one of my 4 favorite characters in the show
Hoffe sehr das Ian in Staffel 6 bei aller Dramatik durch die Revolution sein Glück findet und mit der Vergangenheit abschließen kann. Ihn leiden zu sehen tat mir sehr weh.....
It was just announced Season 6 will premiere in early 2022. A short season (8 episodes, the first episode will be 90 minutes) due to COVID, but Season 7 will be 16 episodes.
My heart aches not to be able to see this series. In Italy it is not broadcast and the old seasons are not there. Why don't you create your own streaming platform?
The chemistry between Ian and Brianna is really very much stronger in the books. I think they have more of a bond than Roger and Ian that's displayed here.
@@debbieday52 it's only focused on a couple of times and those are "blink and you'll miss it"... would be good to see Bree having a closer relationship with her family members (other than Roger and her parents) since she never had any growing up, she has more in depth interaction ls with Lord John (love him and their closeness, but still)...she barely interacts with her kids either unfortunately
Never seen this show. But one thing is for sure: that man returned to the cabin to cry... away from glances. All of them understood. A man being a man.
Claire never does what Jamie asks her to do.... he told her to take Jem and go back to the cabin.... she had to stop and turn around. 😬 he needs to bop her. Love Young Ian.
Knowing what we know now, seeing Ian looking so longingly at Baby Jemmy... Straight up breaks your heart!
When Brianna and Ian hug, to me they look more like a strong brother/sister bond.
I almost cried when Roger came out. So much was said and yet neither one of them spoke a single word.
I also liked Ian's look of almost guilt or like a beat dog's shame that Roger wouldn't talk to him, not knowing he cannot speak yet.
I really dont like Roger, but I love his relationship with ian. Especially that roger helps ian when he wants to kill himself. That makes Roger fall in love with life again.
What happened? I'm missing so much context. Last time they met was when he exchanged his life for roger's, right?
@@destyniiskywalkerspoiler alert : Redcoat hang him but fortunately he's rescued. But still he needs time to deal with his trauma😢.

I watch this scene over and over again... those emotions are so strong ❤️🌟❤️🌟

The Spanish brought them into to Texas in the 1500’s
