I got a very big order for sets of these coasters so I figured I’d film while making a set! I hope you enjoyed the video and hopefully learned something from it!

Kristen After Dark!!! Wooohooo!! I wasn’t able to comment on Kayla’s video before this, but I loooved her Fantasy Pour piece!! Pretty in Pink!! Kayla has an eye for color, just like her Momma!! I adore the DIVINE hybrid colors you both created!! Great Job Kayla!! Now…let’s turn down the lights, sit back, relax, and watch an incredible episode of “Kristen After Dark”!!! I love how you explained your Bloom recipe!! You colors are DIVINE!! Your Blooms turned out STUNNING my dear friend, and Kayla’s dried beautifully!! I looove your Stamp you had made!! You and your daughter are such a joy to watch!! Love you both!!💜🎨🤗
Hello, thank you for sharing this recipe. I’ve attempted but my paint colors seem to be too think. Any suggestions on how to fix?
Hi Faye! If your paint comes out too thick you could always add a little bit more Josonja varnish (or whatever varnish you are using).
Good evening. I have another question. In the video you said you use a tablespoon or the small spoons to measure. Would you be willing to say how much paint to pouring medium you use when mixing the two together?
Hi! Thanks for watching! This is an older video and I no longer mix my paints for blooms this way. BUT, I think what you may be asking is how I mix the cell activator. I use I tablespoon of paint and 3 tablespoons of Aussie floetrol
was curious wha tyou meant when you said " add a lil bit on top to keep from losing colorsz", well i think i know what you meant by that, but im curious how does it keep from losing colors? like does it bind to that color and then you blow on the stuff on it top kind of acts like an anchor or something to hold it up? .... idk if that made any sense, but how did you even figure that out!? lol, did someone teach you or did you just realize it one day while experimenting? :)
How do you clean your tile before you resin, so that the resin does not just flow off and not cover evenly.?
I apply just enough resin to cover the tile. I’ve never had an issue of the resin not sticking.
Do you only have the cell activator in the top white layer?
Hi! Yes, the cell activator goes on last
Okay ... I love the stamp on the back!!!
Sorry, I have another "newbie" question ... I bought something called Makers Mark to seal the tops with, but I love the idea of resin. I think it will make them much more durable. Do you have a video of you doing the resin? I've watched dozens of acrylic pouring videos, but only a few resin ones. There is so much to learn!
@@rebeccabroughton9672 I do have a video, it’s actually my most watched! ua-cam.com/video/OCBvLt0yOCY/v-deo.htmlsi=pEBxY8vOwihpG9h0
