    Beautiful! Did u use a medium in the paints or just pure acrylic paint? Wondering how the cells came in.

      I use a glue and floetrol pouring mix. These paints also had silicone in them. The links for paint mixing videos are in the description.

    What kind of resin do you use for coasters to allow high heat cups to br put on them? This gets confusing to me, resin, resin for heat, varnish, Is there anywhere this information can be found in a simple understandable format?? Really am enjoying your art!

    • @ChristinaWelch
      @ChristinaWelch  4 роки тому

      I only use StoneCoat Epoxy. The art coat and countertop epoxy both work. However, I do prefer a 30 day cure before using with hot drinks. You can always search through my playlists or a general search for video tutorials to help you. If you can't find one, you can always ask. I am here to help. Thanks!

    Lovely! What can you use these poured tiles for? Can I get some ideas?

    • @ChristinaWelch
      @ChristinaWelch  3 роки тому

      Coasters for drinks, can also be used as backsplash art and you can also mount on wood boxes or frame. Many possibilities.

    I just love these colors! I am hoping soooooooo much for an early Fall - or just a Fall at all... we seem to not get much of one anymore with all the global warming! So warn out from all this heat and miserable humidity :-( We are looking to move to N.C. if the hubby can find a NCDOT job that pays well... if ya know of anything! Love these coasters :-)

    • @ChristinaWelch

      I would love it if you moved here. We could have major paint sessions. The heat is bad here too. I would love to do some huge canvas outside, but it would start drying before I'm done.....lol Have hubs look into Franklin or Granville Counties. I know they are always hiring here, lots of jobs. Keep me posted! PS, I am going to email you..

    • @ChristinaWelch
      @ChristinaWelch  Місяць тому

      I tape them off before I paint. I leave it on through the resin process and use a heat gun to remove drips and tape when they are finished. I have lots of videos showing the process. I then apply cork to the backs. Thanks for watching!
